I was craving a giant carnival-style turkey leg and this was the perfect place to get one. At $ 8, it wasn’t really a balanced meal but definitely something that was worth the price and was huge enough to fill you up. Even after sharing with a friend, there was too much for us to conquer. It was best with a side of barbecue sauce and was generally hard to eat and a little on the dry side, but I don’t think it could be helped as it was a giant turkey leg.

Just wasted $ 10 on a turkey cheesesteak. I was kind of stoked cause I love Turkey and I feel like you can’t get it enough except Thanksgiving, but I was sorely disappointed. The cheesesteak was the greasiest sandwich I think it is possible to make. Even before I was halfway done with the sandwich, there was a pool of grease — not gravy, grease — on the bottom of the paper tray. And the bread had soaked up an enormous amount first! The worst part was that it didn’t even taste like Turkey grease, it tasted like cheap vegetable oil. I’m guessing they fried the turkey and onions on a flattop before putting in the sandwich and they put too much oil on it. Guessing they also oiled the bread and grilled it too, so too much oil all around. This is coming from someone who loves fat too — when I roast or grill meat, the fatty parts are my favorites. This was just all I could taste and feel(I feel gross after eating just half). I had to eat a raw tomato afterwards to get the grease feel out of my mouth. I’m not joking. I’m kind of mad about it — there were 10 other foodtrucks around I could have had good food. There are a bunch of other good reviews, so maybe it was just the cook on this shift, but man, please teach that kid how to put together a sandwich.

My sadness over them being out of all the Gob-bowls and Pot Pie last week is mitigated by the fact that they come to my work every other Monday! the Gob-bowl is a reasonably priced turkey dinner at lunch, and it’s so good. The only suggestion I’d have is… don’t run out! :)

Turkey isn’t just for Thanksgiving. The Express truck came by work and I ordered a pterodactyl hot wing. They claimed it was just a turkey wing, but no way. They must be secretly breeding pterodactyl’s — probably got the idea from Jurassic Park… Anyway, the hot wing was great — put it on your list of things to try!

Gobble is a pretty unique food truck as every item features turkey! Turkey wings, pot pies, pulled turkey sliders… turkey everything! I decided to try the pot pie, which was very comforting, but could have been more flavorful and need more veggies. The pieces of turkey were huge and very lean, but I didn’t taste too many herbs or spices… some onion would have tasted great in there. There were a few peas and carrots, although pretty sparse. I did enjoy the crust though — flaky and pastry-like…it was baked to a golden brown, and even the bottom crust was crisp. I normally don’t like crust, but this one was great. Including tax, the pot pie was $ 9, which is rather steep. However, the serving is very filling and I ended up having some left over. Very friendly service and my order was ready almost instantaneously. Looking forward to lunching with them again soon!

The Gobble Express food truck came to our corporate headquarters today and 3 points to note: — after only selling for 10 minutes, the Turkey Pot Pies sold out — I bought the last turkey pot pie — I got to cross out the pot pies from the whiteboard menu in front of the truck. The collective disappointed sighs from the patrons in line made me laugh out loud. *No need to fret, the turkey pasties are basically the same thing as a pot pie, just a little less juiciness, but equally as good.* I never knew turkey could smell so good. As soon as I exited the building and walked into the parking lot where Gobble Express was parked, I was damn near bowled over by the sweet aroma. We saw a group of people who were walking toward the food truck, so I asked my co-worker to run ahead so we could get in front of them in line.(1. I was wearing heels 2. Yes, I’m 10 years old and don’t care.) Oh, and did I mention that I got the last pot pie? *insert evil laugh* The pot pie was $ 10 and was definitely a healthy portion. I ALMOST polished it off, but knew if I did, I’d have to walk around work with the top button on my pants undone. I would love to try their shepherd’s pie the next time I’m in the Woodinville area, and I plan on making that happen soon.

This was our first time trying Gobble Food Truck. It was mediocre at best. The Turkey Club lacked flavor. It was two pieces of white bread with basic mayo, two slices of turkey that resembled ham in flavor and look, 2 ½ pieces of bacon, 1 piece of romaine and a slice of tomato. Resembled the sandwiches my grandmother made in the 50’s. The Macaroni Bacon Bites lacked the flavor of bacon and couldn’t find any bacon in any of the pieces, the dipping sauce was good. The BBQ Pulled Turkey was mediocre. With so many other food truck choices at local events we will be going to those instead. Most of the food trucks we have tried over the years have delivered excellent results in flavor vs. value. Spending $ 40 on mediocre food was very disappointing. Gobble, you need to step up the flavor.

Yum, tried them twice while they were parked in the Molbaks parking lot. Had the sliders one day. The pulled BBQ turkey was delish but it was enough for 2 people. And it could have used more coleslaw. The following week I had the cranberry turkey wrap. Again a huge portion, enough for two($ 8) and a bit too much dressing but very delicious. Will definitely keep going back. Several friends highly recommend their pot pie and turkey chili.

I really like the Gobble Express. The boyfriend and I munched down on their chili at the Winter Brewfest, it was mighty delicious! The line was long but it moved quickly and we didn’t have a long wait for food either. They also have the most delicious fried Mac n cheese balls and pot pies!!! I’ll def stop in again if I see them!

My chili was tasty but it wasn’t very hot, more like lukewarm. Not good for a cold day. This food truck has everything turkey. If they fix the temperature issue I will be back for some more delicious chili yum!
