The only COLOMBIAN spot to get fresh buñuelos! Very friendly staff, is a nice little COLOMBIAN restaurant, nothing out of the ordinary just good food! If you’re around the area, I’ll def recommend this place

I normally order delivery from them and sometimes go to eat there. So far the food from them has been really good. I went today and order some things to go including a chicharron which I specifically ask the lady I wanted well done cook… well they gave me the less cook chicharron you can even imagine getting from a Colombian place. It’s disgusting especially after you asked for it to be well done cook… I told them twice that’s how I wanted it. I’m not eating that it looks so disgusting

This is a great place to have steak and eggs and huevos rancheros. Large portions, well priced, and good service. I went back very soon after.

The chicken here is PERFECT. $ 6 and change get you a half of a delicious rotisserie chicken with a giant side of white rice and beans. I’m just annoyed that they usually run out of chicken early. But that’s a good thing I guess?

I almost gave this place five stars. I come to this place a lot for either breakfast or dinner. Sometimes alone or sometimes with parents. The price of the food for taste is excellent. The reason I gave it shy of five stars is because of service, I actually know the servers and there are one or two that always forgets our table and there is one particular server that knows us very well and instead of giving us iced water in a pitcher she never does. I am not sure if its because she is lazy or what but the other server is excellent, always checking the tables for anything we might need. Other than that, the house arepas are excellent topped off with guacamole or chorizo and chicharron. The desserts are excellent as well the tres leches being my favorite. The owners also have another location on Lefferts blvd passing Rockaway blvd going towards JFK called Nuevas Brisas. This place is a bargain compared to Pollos Doña Maria which have hiked up their prices. Stay Hungry My Friends. Ave maria pues.

Brought my friends here for their first local dining experience in NYC and they loved it. The food was maybe a little slow getting to us, but it was worth the wait! The whole staff is very friendly and will work hard to make you feel at home. The portions are quite hearty and we were all satisfied with our experience. The largest table seats 4, so you may have to sit at 2 tables if your party is larger than that.

The food is very tasty. I have ordered form there twice to have it delivered and they took less than 25 minutes to deliver. When I received the food it was hot and the service over the phone is great the ladies are always very pleasant.

I’ve been here many times to eat but wandered in yesterday and realized they had cakes! Although many were decorated for Valentine’s Day, I found an all white cake. To my lovely surprise it was tres leche with strawberries. It was $ 25 and enough for my 10 person party. So good, will definitely be back for my cake needs.

DELICIOUS Colombian food! Great service when we eat there, and they also deliver for free. Food always comes hot and is always good. While we usually get dinner, I’ve also stopped by in the morning for a pan de queso/café to go. The servings are so large you can share one dinner plate/entrée between two. We always have leftovers. MUYRICOTODO!

The Spanish community has a definate zest for life. In what what other ethnic neighborhoods can you find the flair and vigor can you walk into any bakery in the wee hours of the morning — and the place is rockin’ with music, laughs and miscellaneous buzz? Four small Sony bookshelf speakers were cranking out the Columbian tunes while the two TV’s were broadcasting with volume, the morning talk show hotties performing interviews. As a non bilingual, I’m not sure what their discussions entailed, but it really didn’t matter, it’s the women’s looks that kept my eyes glued. Yowser… Bright yellow lush green painted walls, that would typically be troubling at this time of day yet when incorporating cute wall appointments, the casual and hospitable South American charm comes rushing right off the walls and through your soul. For my Desayuno, I chose the Calentado Con Huevos O Chorizo. Mixed rice and beans with scrambled eggs with sausage was all I could handle. The flavors mixed together with the chorizo was just delightful to taste and rivals any breakfast needed to fill up a hungry guy. So good in fact that even though I tipped a dollar on my to go meal my $ 20.00 was changed into a $ 10.00 even though the menu clearly states $ 5.50.

Talk about hearty meals! We came around brunch-ish… I ordered the number 2 from the desayuno(«breakfast» in Spanish) menu. It was a grilled steak with an arepa covered in cheese. Despite the huge amount of protein, I still wanted my fried eggs! To my delight, the egg came in its own little cast iron pot and the waitress asked to check if my egg was cooked to my liking. It sure was! Still runny with a nice fried flair… I was so endeared that she asked me and ofc because it came served in its own little vessel! Supa kyoot. The hubs got the number one, which includes rice and beans, choice of meat(he got chorizo) and any style eggs. That was really good too! The only thing is that they automatically add 15% gratuity for sitting down, no matter the size of your party… And they take«prices subject to change without notice» disclaimer quite seriously. My dish was $ 8.50 as displayed but my husband’s was listed as $ 5.50… They had charged us $ 8.50 for each… We didn’t gripe, it was cheap enough anyway and the food was good… but just wanted to let that out there! P.S– Fried egg in a pot is $ 3.00 extra.
