Elite Event: Forest Park Carousel

Another fabulous event!

This was my first kid’s friendly event. Although I didn’t take a kid, my adult plus one and I had a marvelous time.
Very happy the weather stayed positive while we were there.
We had an amazing time riding the carousel which was unlimited for us Unilocalers.
Nice selection of music to compliment the rides.
We ended the party with hot dogs, chips, and ice cream. Appreciate the complimentary tickets.

It’s great to see Unilocal reaching out to more family friendly kid events as the city offers plenty in this area and deserve their own time, visits, and writeups. Even though it was a overcast day the rains stayed away during the event.
The carousel is a city landmark and all it’s items are hand carved. You really see the intricate art that goes into each piece. The lil one loved her first carousel ride and being around other kids. She finally met Uncle Jando and Uncle Nelson as well! There is a snack bar in front and a decent sized event space for parties while today there was a kid party going on. Carousel rides were free today for the event but run only a few dollars on other times. A magic show also occurs in the afternoon. Wonderful carousel in Forest Park with nearby parking. You can always go into the park and playgrounds as well. Makes for a fun afternoon. You’ll hear about other bigger name carousels in the city but this one really is a gem and shows the great restoration work that was put into it. Tigers, horses, even family seating on the carousel. Loved it. Definitely saw other Unilocal elite families there and it was great to meet new ones and catch up with old ones. Kids loved it.

First Elite Event!!! Woop! Woop! *does the butterfly*
I was excited to attend this event, specifically bc I had missed the previous kid friendly one. It was nice to spend some time with my god daughter, Madison, while also meeting a few of my fellow Elites.
Even though the weather wasn’t the best Madison and I had a great time. Finally got to meet Jando, my community manager and he was a cool guy. We got our bracelets, and tickets for free food, drinks and prizes and went on our way.
After four times on the carousel, 20 minutes at the playground (2 minute walk from the Carousel) and a great magic show Madison was more than happy… and pooped! She knocked out in the car (thanks for that Unilocal team :))
Looking forward to future events with you guys

You guys should have more of these kid friendly events! I would love to have my kids be a part of all the Elite fun! Not crowded at all since many didn’t show, I took the chances even though it was drizzling, luckily the rain eventually moved on.
Round and round we went on the carousel! I’d say my daughter got on at least 4 times, I jumped on a couple times myself. The carousel was quite a classic, with beautiful horses, carriages, and tigers, too. The magic show was pretty exciting, humorous guy who loved being «awesome». Kay and Kar enjoyed petting the rabbit towards the end of the show.
Nothing beats ending the fun with ice cream, Unilocal tattoos, and getting a hug from Jando S. LOL.
