Good food. Warm, friendly, helpful staff and owner. Nice setting. Best place in town for breakfast and lunch(I haven’t been here for dinner yet). So far 10 out of 10 in my book.

My fiancé ordered a chicken avocado sandwich. The menu stated fresh avocado. Which we would think would be actual avocado. Her sandwich had that grocery store style guacamole on it. The service was fine and the prices are ok but I prefer dotties to Woodbury Diner.

Stopped in for breakfast this morning, first time we’ve been to the Woodbury Diner. We expected a wait for a table since it was a Saturday morning, but we were seated right away(place was only half-filled). Décor could use some sprucing up, but hey, it’s a diner. My wife ordered the Cream Brulee French toast w/strawberries, I went with country style Eggs Benedict(biscuits instead of English muffins, and sausage instead of Canadian bacon). Meals came out after a short wait, we both thought our breakfasts were good. My eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife’s French toast was very tasty(I got a few bites). Her only complaint was that the bacon was flavorless. Coffee was very good also. We’d certainly drop into the Woodbury Diner again if we were in the area.

Woodbury Diner is a jewel hidden in the business plaza behind the New Morning store. It’s some of the best coffee in the area. I prefer mine black, and this is the only place where I don’t need to add sugar and milk to get rid of the bitter taste. I also drink a lot of it, and my cup is never empty. The food is above average for diner fare. Always cooked to perfection, and always comes out of the kitchen hot. It’s hard to pick a favorite since everything is very good, but I’m partial to their Reubens — both corned beef and turkey varieties. Their dinner specials are well worth the trip. A different one each night. The prime rib is one of the best in town. They don’t serve liquor, but you can bring in a bottle of wine if you wish, although, I’ve seen people mix cocktails at their table :/ I can’t say enough about the servers. They are always friendly, have a smile, and do what they can to make your visit pleasant. It’s a good place for groups — but give them a heads up first. They don’t take reservations, but they will try to accommodate you. Friday nights, and Saturday and Sunday mornings are peak times, so occasionally, you may have to wait a bit for a table. Spring through fall, there are places to sit outside. In the winter, you may prefer to wait inside, and it can get crowded. For a good, casual meal at a reasonable price, you couldn’t find a better place in Woodbury.

I stopped in here Saturday, August 29th with a couple friends that live in the area. I almost didn’t find the place, as it’s tucked in the back of a parking lot behind a grocery store. I had a big breakfast which consisted of eggs, home fries, sausage, and French toast. Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly.

I made a note a few months ago that the posted menu is wrong. The owner responded they don’t have a menu posted. I am trying to call to your attention that the menu link on this site is incorrect. It lists hair care for your menu. Sorry that wasn’t clear the first time. Please upload a correct menu to this site link.

Don’t eat dinner here! Very disappointed. Very much like cafeteria food. My son’s turkey dinner was awful… The turkey slices were flavorless & dry but covered in a mysterious orange«gravy». Salad was little more than iceberg lettuce, a slice of cuke, and an anemic tomato. Fish & chips were of the frozen variety & quite greasy. Only palatable plate was my husband’s club sandwich, which I surmise is hard to screw up. Perhaps one would have better luck ordering breakfast.

Went here on a beautiful April Sunday. Place was packed, but only waited 3 – 5 minutes for a table. First, coffee was very good. Please take a sip before adding any extras. For me, putting in half a creamer made it perfect(and I’m usually light and sweet with the ubiquitous dd). I ordered a Farmer’s omlette(ham and cheese) with home fries and wheat toast. Thr omelette was cooked perfectly, with a lightly browned exterior and the cheese melted just right with the thin sliced ham pieces warm and tasty. The home fries I asked for crispy and they were. Chunks of potatoe with just a little seasoning. The wheat toast was fairly uniform(not home made), but toasted to the right crispness and expertly buttered. I also tried the Crème Broulee French toast. The crème broulee taste was a bit more subdued than I would have liked, but the strawberries were very fresh tasting and that kind of made up for it. The staff was extremely friendly and our waitress super attentive(coffee was always topped off, and being that it was so good, I was appreciative of that). Bottom line, if you can find your way back to this local diner(and I do mean way, way back behind the stores in the small plaza) sit and enjoy a good meal. I believe the only rule here would be No Cow Tipping ; D

We came here because of all the 4 – 5 star reviews. Wow what a disappointment. My pancakes were burnt and tasteless and the home fries were cold. According to my family their omelettes were just ok. I gave them 1 star because the coffee was good and our waitress was real nice.

This place is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I want to move to Woodbury from NY and we drove around the area and found this little diner. It is definitely one of, if not, the best diner I’ve been to. Very cute, friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Definitely coming here again.

Cozy is a way to describe this remarkable little diner on the edge of Woodbury. A delicious French toast awaited along with the most splendid cup of coffee I’ve ever had from a diner.

This is our goto diner on Sundays. The place is usually packed and the wait can be somewhat long but it’s worth it. The servers and owners are very friendly and you get a good family feel here. They accommodate our 2 year old daughter everytime. They have highchairs here. The décor is eclectic and a bit kitschy but it part of the charm. I recommend this spot for breakfast. Their omelets are perfectly cooked, the home fries are crispy and the pancakes are just the right amount of fluffy. The specials are also worth trying. I’ve had dinner here a couple of times and it was pretty good, I wouldn’t say great but I filled up and left happy everytime. It BYOB for dinner so remember to bring some hooch for your meal.

Great little place, nestled away in Woodbury. Make sure to follow the sign, it’s tucked away behind a market. I’ll keep it simple, service was friendly and super fast. Food was delicious and flavorful, except the home fries, but I can love with that. Highly recommend this place for the passing through traveler. It’s definitely a hometown favorite already.

This was a great find. We used to go to Dottie’s right down the street or the Blue Colony Diner in Newtown. However, when we found this place, this became our new favorite diner. Everything I’ve had there is great, and top notch! Their soups are the best. The service is always good and friendly. It is not the easiest place to find and the seating is limited and seems like they’re always busy, but you can understand why. Great place!

I rarely give a place five stars but because the staff, our waitress Mary, was so kind, friendly, helpful and recommending, she earned this place it’s fifth star. The food, we ordered the grilled pork chops with mashed potatoes. It was cooked just right, and not too dry! Well done! Pun unintentional. :D My husband had the salmon omelette. For the prices they charge, the good was excellent, the place very clean and cheerful, and very busy! Just a tad difficult for us to find. And never noticed this place, despite the fact that we buy our groceries from the market right next to it! Lol. Now I know where to come for lunch, and a breakfast all day! On Sundays, the breakfast is until 2 pm!

My wife and I went to lunch here on 12⁄2. She ordered a cup of chicken soup and a chicken salad wrap, on the lunch special menu. I ordered the cheeseburger club. The chicken soup was very good but unfortunately it was luke warm. The chicken salad was very good and it was grilled. My cheeseburger club was very good both came with french fries. The service was very good. The waitress told us the chef makes a great shrimp scampi and has a $ 13.95 prime rib special. I would definitely go back.
