Back in the saddle. I haven’t Unilocaled in a few years. Life just happens to get in the way sometimes.
However, I feel the need to tell people how amazing the coffee is at Winding Wheel. I love their Americano in a way that has ruined most other coffee places for me. It’s really worth trying your local coffee shop, rather than the chains. I do enjoy the breakfast burrito and find the smoked salmon on a bagel to be excellent as well. Calm, warm and inviting décor.
In case you are wondering where to find it, the shop is tucked away in a plaza off of Sherman Hill where Carlitos is. The Elizabeth Richard gift store moved in next door (also worth checking out). Their location used to house Aylas, which has moved. The buildings just got a fresh coat of paint and look great.
Now go warm up with some coffee already!
