We stayed here a few years ago and loved it, so since we were looking for an overnighter in this area, we decided to come back here. We were not disappointed. This is just as nice as we remembered. This park was obviously set up by RVers, for RVers. They know what we like. Large, level sites with utilities that work perfectly. In addition, the people are very friendly.

LOVED our experience with St Paul’s from beginning to end. So easy to make reservations and we are given helpful advice from the start, even directions on how to get here.(the GPS on my iPhone got us here just fine, but the GPS in the H2 didn’t recognize the address) This campground is beautiful, quiet and the owners are amazingly helpful. Each site has a patch of grass of it’s own and a picnic table. The grounds are immaculate and they make sure that each guest is too. The pet area, is in a lovely tree covered corner of the property and it makes for a beautiful walk with your dog. There is a small yet perfectly maintained pool area and a great playground for kids. This really is an ideal spot for a family with young kids to come enjoy themselves. Nearby(within driving distance) are shopping centers with anything you could require. Also there is a beautiful neighborhood within 10 minutes called Lake Elmo, there is golfing, lake activities and the cutest little village. Very worth going to check it out. I LOVE that quiet hours are strictly enforced, so you actually can come here are relax. This is a stress free zone. We can’t wait to come back next year for our younger niece’s graduation.

Close to 494⁄694 for north and south, 94 and 36 for east and west. Easy to find if you follow directions well. The streets and spaces are gravel. With heavy rain you may find you need wood or blocks for your jacks as they may sink into the ground. They assist you in every way getting parked and set up so you do not get too close or too far from fences, posts, hookups, etc. It is more country than city so expect bugs. With all the rain(Jun 2014) there are a LOT of bugs. There is a nice pool, playground for the kids and a dog area. The dog area is open so you can not take your dog off the lease. It would be greatly improved if the fences at the back were secure and a fence was put somewhere in the front so dogs could run off leash.(The entire Minneapolis-St Paul area is short of dog parks, some requiring you to buy a local license before you can use it.) The reservation system is easy but whatever you reserve for you have to pay. They bill upfront for the entire amount and do not give refunds. If you have to leave a day or two early you lose the money for those days. So make sure you know how many days you want to stay before reserving a space. Not all spaces are 50 amp, not all have sewer. IMHO there is a lot of potential for this part to upgrade before it is surrounded by houses and apartments. Last point, if you are using an older GPS, watch out, the name of the street is Settlers’ Ridge but it use to be Cottage Grove. If your GPS has not gotten the newest update you may find you can not find this place due to the name change.
