Went here for the 4th or 5th time with the kids(6 of us all together). It was such a great experience as it always is. We had bought some coupons and coupon said you had to use one per visit. The lady that helped us wound up being the owner, and she said it was no big deal she would just make it work. The total was like 41.05 and she just kept it at an even 40. As always the food was excellent. We recommend bringing your family here.

The worst service ever! I ordered online and got to the store when I was told to expect it to be ready. I waited for 10 minutes and then went up to Ask if my order was ready. The employee said it wasn’t and that they were working on it because one of the prep team members that just left was slow. What? I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes and still wasn’t ready. Meanwhile there were about 8 teens“working”. More like screwing around while I was waiting for my order. I have to add that it wasn’t even remotely busy in there at the time! Finally I got fed up and asked for a refund. It took a girl about 10 minutes to do that as she did not no how! What a waste of time! Don’t even bother. If they keep this up they’ll be gone before you know it. Didn’t even get a chance to taste a thing. If they are this lackluster about service, I’m sure the food is as well.

Stopped in on our way back to Colorado as we were wanting a great malt. Not only were the malts fantastic, but the food was amazing as well. The owners took the time to talk to us personally and were very friendly. Highly recommend this place!!!

The burger was too greasy and soggy. The fries were limp and almost inedible. I’m adding 1 star for the tasty orange creamsicle milkshake and the super nice employees.

Always anxious to try a new burger chain. An upside down grilled egg type bun burger loaded with cheese and pickles was good enough for me. There’s a decent wrapper in the basket to pick it up with, too. Skip the Irish nachos, nothing Irish about chili over thick potato chips. Companion enjoyed his patty melt as well. I never heard of this chain, still waiting on In n Out and NuWay. Friendly service.

I had my doubts knowing it was a chain, but everything in here really is reminiscent of old time burgers. My southwest burger was very tasty and the fries are as fries should be. The shake was thick and actually tasted like chocolate, unlike a lot of the other burger places where you can’t tell the difference between vanilla and chocolate shakes. I much prefer it to Five Guys. I will definitely return.

I was in the impression that this was going to be an In-n-out Burger alternative. But boy was I wrong. The burgers were so tasteless. Good service made me give this 3 stars but the food was meh.

We visited here before Thanksgiving and were surprised that they also had turkey burgers. The wait was quite long after we got our order in. Anyways, it is much better than your typical BK, McD’s, etc. There are even shakes available and I got the caramel apple. The shake had little apple bits which I didn’t expect and pleasantly surprised. We will be back for sure… Also, they had nice specials like the Thanksgiving turkey burger with stuffing and cranberries.

Personally, the burger meat was good, but a lot of the same old stuff already being done. Decent but not over the top. The owners were super nice and hard working, the atmosphere is super clean. My son loved his chocolate malt. I wouldn’t drive from Hudson to Woodbury again just to eat here but I’d stop in if in the neighborhood. Next time I’ll try a more personalized burger creation which they do offer!

Worth a try for something low key. Very comparable to Five Guys & SmashBurger, maybe right in the middle of the two. Staff(owners) very nice and the rest of te crew very pleasant. Clean place and very good service. The Shakes were very good, but a little spendy. We tried the Cheese fries which were good enough. A side order is good for two to three people. The burgers were pretty good and everything tasted fresh. We will go back but when convieniant.

I have had a craving for chili cheese fries lately. Wanting to try a new burger joint is always on the agenda to. So I decided to give Waybacks a shot at my beef eating dollars. I was able to take off work early and this place is kinda on my way home. That is a real good thing for me. Unless it is a special occasion or I am in the neighborhood for another reason, I do not like to travel far for eating adventures. I was able to place my order quickly, but waited a bit before deciding what burger I wanted. It didn’t take more than a minute or 2 to decide on the Southwest Chipotle Burger. A double beef, double pepper jack cheese, with jalapenos and a chipotle mayo burger. I placed my order for the burger, chili cheese fries and a regular beverage. It was rung up and came to $ 14.00. I was kinda surprised at first, then did the quick add, 6 for the burger, 5 for the fries and 2 for the drink. OK, kinda grumbled a bit because I knew the chili cheese fries were not meant for one dining alone and getting a sandwich to. It is not a side dish, like fries. It is an appetizer meant to be shared with 2 teenagers or 4 adults. I wanted my chili cheese fries and I got them. But paid plenty too. The burger was quickly prepared and brought out to me by the cook. I was told the chili cheese fries will be shortly. I thought about waiting for the fries, but my stomach overruled my thoughts. The burger was in a pie tin type of dish, lined with a newspaper print food paper. Not sure what the newspaper print food paper does for this place. I guess they wanted to do something different. And customers pay an extra nickel for the research on the brain storming session they did to make this silly decision. I pick up my burger and immediately see that it is very lightly formed. Pieces of meat were ready to fall off. Lightly formed is generally a good thing, but I want it to stay together too. Then the meat started sliding around and I thought it was going to slide off the bun. I had to be very careful eating to make sure that did not happen. This is definitely a sandwich that needs both hands to hold down the moving cow. It didn’t moo, so I knew it was dead. But I did wonder for a minute. I finished my burger and now my chili cheese fries are brought to me. They looked very good. Plenty of meaty chili and melting cheese. They were as expected. Meaty enough. Cheesy enough. And too much for one person. I tried to get a sample of the chili only, no cheese, no fries, to taste the chili alone. It could use more flavor. But this a chain and they want to deliver to palates of a wide range of customers. And their silly brain storming session told them, «lets keep it mild». The standard 80⁄20 rule. I have no idea how their chili cheese fries compare to other places. I have not had them in many years. It will be many years before I have them from Waybacks again. Unless they have a serving size more appropriate for one or two diners. And a price to match. The burger was very good, just slid around too much. Staff was pleasant and attentive. The table I sat at was not wiped, but it was not so unappealing that I chose another table. There were plenty of other tables available at this 2PM visit.
