Every time that we’ve stayed here we found the property to be clean, well taken care of, the service is excellent with attention to detail. The breakfast is delicious and the person serving the breakfast area very courteous. This is a business travelers hotel; the prices on the weekends are lower and higher during the week. We’ve seen no children… no partiers. It’s clearly our best choice in the area. However I think that when the parking lot lines were painted they weren’t painted perpendicular to the curbs exactly because it seems like nobody can park straight ive caught myself parking crooked and I’ll pay attention to those things. You think you’re going into the spot perfectly straight but then when you get out of your car your slightly crooked and most people are too lazy to get back in their vehicle and correct it. Another complaint I have about this and I don’t know if this is true at all Hamptons but the bathtub all the bathtubs at this property do not have flat floors there beveled and your ankles are crooked when you’re standing in there taking a shower it’s extremely uncomfortable and it’s unnerving. Im not sure if the design was to get you to take a short of a shower as possible… but that’s what I’m doing. Whoever’s job it was to choose the bathtubs when the hotel was being built… they dropped the ball big time they should be forced to take a shower in one of these tubs and see how they like it. It’s like you’re standing on an uneven surface… because you ARE standing on an uneven surface. Other than those two little gripes, this is an outstanding property and we will stay here again.

I’m here from Oregon for a funeral. I had a short break and wanted to do some yoga. The nice guy behind the front desk got me an extension cord and found a plug for me in the pool area so I could stream a yoga class. I need to plug in my phone while doing the class because I forgot to charge my phone. He was kind and helped me quickly and didn’t look put out that I needed his help. He also stayed until he was sure the cord worked and I was ready to go. Thanks for the wonderful and genuine service.

The hotel is fine, typical Hampton Inn, nothing special to make it stand out from others. The only bad thing I have to say is don’t leave any valuables laying around. I arrived in my room one night to find my luggage dumped out and my laptop gone. All can be replaced but it is curious how someone has access to my room, very curious. I am a diamond member and stay at Hiltons every week. i stay in the Minneapolis area at least once a month but usually at a doubletree in the city. I decided to try out the Hampton inn as its closer to where I was going to be and now I know for sure I’ll be going back to the city in the future… extremely disappointed that someone had access to my room, that the front desk clerk didn’t seem to care and overall that the only people really willing to help me was the police. If I were the manager, I would have went out of my way to call the customer and do what I could to help. I will not be staying here again.

Right now(Oct 2012) they are in the middle of a big renovation. so Lobby, breakfast area, etc are«work in progress». For gym, they will give you a pass to a nearby gym. Overall OK, kind of dated, but functional.

Just spent the past three days at this hotel while in the area attending a wedding. This was a great place to stay. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to please. Fairly small size, quiet and easy to get to. Great place to stay.

Wow, I review a lot of Hampton Inns. I guess the reason for this is that where I travel for work, they are about as nice as one can get. No problem with this one. I pulled in @ 1am needing a bed to crash on. They accommodated me, cut my rate and wished me good night. Plenty of parking for my Uhaul truck and trailer. The room was standard Hampton faire, with an updated bathroom. I passed out, woke up without a break in, crabs, or a missing kidney, and went on my merry way. Thank you Hampton Inn. The only weird thing was there were no automatic doors in the front. What is this whole push/pull the door open thing?
