Burger King

Just for Historical information before the ill-​fated 25 Burgers there was a Burger King was at this location and for reasons I don’t understand they closed but I am EXTREMELY HAPPY that their back!!! I LOVE ALL THEIR FOOD ITEMS!!! MC Donald’s was the first fast food restaurant in Woodbury Heights other than Geno’s in Oak Valley famous for the Geno Giant!!! Unfortunately I DON’T LIKE FRIED BURGERS!!!

Stopped in and decided to eat in since I had the time. I had the whopper junior and fries and unsweet tea. The fries were the best I have ever had at any fast food place. The fries were cooked perfectly crunchy and very tasty with the perfect amount of salt! My whooper junior was cooked perfectly hot burger and cold lettuce and tomato. I had to wait a little while but worth the wait because it was cooked right. Keep up the good work gang! You are settling in now and showing all Burger Kings how it’s done.

This store just opened up today in the lot that the ill-​fated 25 Burgers used to occupy, and since I hadn’t been to a Burger King in 10 years I decided to check them out.
I ordered a Big King value meal, which came with a Big King sandwich (BK’s answer to the big mac), a medium fry, and a medium coca cola.
The drive-​thru is very narrow and claustrophobic and if you have a larger vehicle it would likely be a very tight fit. It took a VERY long time to get through (and to their credit, the woman who greeted me at the window apologized for the wait), but that might have just been a symptom of opening day, and doesn’t really affect my score.
My problem was that my Big King sandwich was much worse than a Big Mac, the BK version of McDonalds’ «special sauce» tasted like it was just mayo. My fries had 3 onion rings mixed in with them.
But worst of all, my Coca Cola tasted terrible. I know what a Coca Cola tastes like (what American doesn’t?), but the drink I got was not a Coca Cola. I thought they may have accidentally given me a Diet Coke, so I had my dad take a sip as I know he drinks Diet Coke all the time, and he told me it definitely wasn’t Diet Coke. He said it tasted like extremely watered down Coca Cola, which I agreed with.
So I give them one star because I feel like i was ripped off with my soda, and think that’s kinda inexcusable… If I just didn’t like the food I’d probably go with 2 stars.
