They have the best glazed donuts in South Jersey… By far… If only they knew what a real Boston Cream donut was… I ordered one and got that crappy white cream and not the custard that is a true Boston Cream donut… Just like a small Boston cream pie… Perhaps if they googled if they would understand the difference

We would get pastries from the Ritz bakery from time to time and were sad when they closed. The we learned that they had moved and reopened unbder the name Summit Cakery & Café in Woodbury Heights. We bought our Thanksgiving pies from them this year(2015); a 10 inch pumpkin, 10 inch apple crumb, and an 8 inch lemon marangue. One word — delicious! The place was packed when I went to get the pies and I can understand why. It’s great to have a local bakery again!

The best baked goods around. It’s hard to find a good privately owned bakery that still makes there stuff from scratch! The butter cookies melt in your mouth and the prices are excellent! Go check out this gem and see what you have been missing!!!

Donuts make me go nuts!!! But they have so much more to offer! From donuts, to eclairs, to danishes and homemade chicken pot pies you can not go wrong with this hometown bakery. My dog also gets to enjoy the freshly made dog treats so it’s a win for everyone!

The coffee alone makes Summit worth a visit!!! But once you get inside, you won’t walk out with just coffee! The strawberry shortcake might be my favorite but the sticky buns run a close second. Added bonus? I get to pick up speciality treats for my furry family members too!

Formerly the Ritz bakery of Woodbury. Having been a lifelong customer of the Ritz(25+ years) I was upset when they closed but thrilled when I found they relocated to Woodbury Heights under the name Summit. I believe there was a change in owners but it was kept in the family. The most important part the pastries! They are exquisite. Chocolate croissant is a favorite and the raspberry chocolate Godiva cake is to die for! The donuts are always fresh and so much better than a certain coffee chain or even the local supermarket. They make their own chicken pot pie and I can tell you it has large chicken pieces fresh carrots and peas and the crust is awesome(my fave part). Also try the spinach and feta croissant(great for when you are on the run). The cookies are divine. My favorites are the chocolate peanut butter, raspberry, chocolate chip and the butter. Cakes are always moist and the frosting is melt in your mouth. I recommend you try it once — I think that you will come back:) (The pepperoni bread and rolls are great for a party or game night)

Very nice new location. Small. But clean. I ordered cake. It was delish one of the best I have had but the decorator work was definitely lack luster. Taste is more important to me but some people think appearance is key. I bought a large cake and many people commented it was«plain looking but tastes great.» All the items I bought there were very good. The employees are great. Cookie trays are a bit overpriced for what you get.

Best pastries in town!!! We go here for the doughnuts and danishes. They are the best. We think everything is even better than the former location. I hope Woodbury Heights realizes what they have.

Ritz Pastry of Woodbury reborn. When Ritz closed i was so upset, no more local bakery i thought. I didn’t realize they were relocating and changing names. I happened to drive by Mantua Pike and wondered what this new bakery was in the plaza. Googled and boom, Summit Cakery & Café! I’m not fond of the location just because it’s further away from home, but I’m willing to drive further down the pike for a larger, cleaner, and newer space. My first trip to Summit was just to explore and to get a Father’s Day treat. I wasn’t loving the generic cakes they had for the occasion. So i opted for an Oreo ice cream cake. It was delicious. However, i expected the whole cake to be ice cream. It was layers of cake with ice cream in between. I wished it had more ice cream. This would be good as a summer cake but please add more ice cream! Also, i can’t wait to come back here for some La Colombe coffee! Or to try the donuts, rolls, buns, and all the pastries!
