Safeway

My review is for the bakery department. I bought a super cool burger shaped cake with cake fries in July, everyone loved it! Last week I decided to order the same cake for my brothers birthday. When I picked it up today the icing was cracked on top and it was much smaller. It didn’t even come with the fries and the label specifically said I ordered them. All she said was that they didn’t have enough time to make them. she didn’t even offer a discount. She did tell me their cake decorated walked out on them, but that is still not my problem. I had to tell them I was not satisfied so they marked it 50% off. I don’t understand why they didn’t offer the discount in the first place. The cake tasted fine but I’m still disappointed.

Expensive, corporate, mass produced poison.

The prices might be higher than Wal-​Mart, but the quality of the environment and patrons are too.
I don’t do bulk grocery shopping here, but the special items like kombucha, and soy yoghurt can be found here.

Only been here a few times. Seems to be a very nice store. The only problem is the lines always seem to be kinda long.

By far the best grocery store in Woodburn. The employees are fast and friendly (both store clerks and the gas pump attendants), not to mention the emplyees of the in store starbucks was. My favorite store by far!

YEAH!!! Safeway had a makeover!!! Since their remodel and face lift, the appearance and upkeep of this store has improved leaps and bounds.
I no longer crawl hesitantly forward to the dingy isles of safeway. Not I can confidently (and highly caffinated (thanks safeway starbucks)) glide down the open isles to find all my shopping list items with ease. Including the extra items that always jump into my shopping cart (whoops)!
It may be mostly an incentive, but I LOVE having an average savings of 20%
Their produce section is beautiful and I always take extra time to wander through the bursting colors and smells.
Final note, I REALLY enjoy getting gas here. It is consistantly equal to or lower than any surrounding gas stations. Im all for saving!!!

The Safeway gas station consistently has the best gas prices in Woodburn, and that’s usually without the extra 3 cents off for having a member card. I’m definitely a fan of any place where you can consistently get lower gas prices.
There is a catch unfortunately: they’ve been understaffed for the last several months, which generally means you can expect slow service with irate drivers trying to cut in line in front of you.
The grocery store is great. It’s always sparkly clean, has an excellent selection of products, and a friendly, helpful staff. My wife does most of our shopping, but when I do any this is where I go.
