Their pupsuas are the BEST. By far BETTER than«Dona Tere» and«La Roca». Coming from a person who has eaten pupsuas all their life and on a constant bases, their pupsuas are so authentic! When they stuff them, they fill them up just enough to where you can taste the filling! It’s great. Overall the taste of their pupusas are delicious. Definitely recommend going here if you have never tasted pupusas.

I had the revueltas pupusas and they lacked in the flavor department and were too soft for my liking.

Wow a diamond in the sand. Came here for my Bro’s Birthday and it was dead packed, luckily there were two tables that we put together for our 6. We got the fried tilapia platter and that was only $ 10! Cheap and good! We also ordered the chicharron with fried yuca, pupusa loca, tamale, and horchata and tamarind drink. Everything was very tasty, chicharron was skinless so you don’t get that crunchy effect, it was a bit salty too. Yuca was tasty, the drinks were awesome, definitely will be back for more.

One of my favorite places at the east coast for salvadoran food. Their pupusas are very authentic. They also have typical food that tastes really good!

Compare to the Doña Azucena’s in Arlington, this one is great, tger service is good, the pupusas are very tasty and fresh:) the place is clean, organize. I was a bit skeptical since the one in Arlington is way different when it comes to service specially. I totally recommend this Doña Azucena’s in Woodbridge VA:) I had a great time!

Pupusas are good but the service was horrible! The waitress was extremely rude, she would role her eyes when we would ask for drinks or when we had a question about the food. I accidentally spilled my drink on my lap and she had an even worse attitude. Even after I attempted to clean it up myself. If your job is to serve and make a living of tips, why have an attitude and be rude?

Nasty steak and chicken tacos. I need to find a good Mexican restaurant. I will not advise folks to try this spot. Horrible.

OMG! They had fresh made pupusa, and it’s the best taste in this area. I loved the one with pork, cheese and beans. They don’t have many items on the menu, but everything there was good. The steak dish were really good, the price was reasonable too. We went there last Sunday, and we had been two more times this week already!

This is a good restaurant when your craving good pupusas. The pupusas are filled with cheese and meat unlike the other places I tried before it’s mostly the tortilla. We also order the carne asada and pollo asado and it was great the portion was a whole lot and the taste is pretty good as well not only that the prices were great as well.

The food is Amazing. We always get the chicken and onions platter. Their rice is some of the best I’ve ever had, and the green spicy sauce(I don’t know the correct names for anything lol) Only reason they lost a star is the customer service is not great. No one really speaks English, which is fine I guess because it’s an authentic spot, but they should have at least 1 person who can communicate with us outsiders! And when we dined in one time we didn’t get a lot of attention. Had a long wait for everything. And when we asked for the green spicy sauce our waitress looked at us like we were crazy and said they don’t have it. Until someone else walking by told her they do. Everyone has their flaws and I’ll take a hard time communicating with food this good any day!

I used to love eating here with the family, but recently their rebuelta pupusas just don’t taste as good as they used to, they taste kinda old, but their loroco pupusas are delicious! Also their phone service is so rude, when I order some man answers and doesn’t even say hi or anything, he just takes your order with out letting you really talk and then hangs up, also always make sure they gave you all of your pupusas, also don’t dine in, the waitresses aren’t to friendly and ignore you!

CONFESSION: I’ve been to this location 2 times prior, and until today I didn’t have the desire to write a review but it’s all my fault. I was doing it wrong, Yall! My past 2 experiences, I ordered pupusas, got em home, threw the cabbage and the sauce away, and just ate the pupusa. I was watching«Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives» and I saw how you are supposed to enjoy them. I say enjoy because that is exactly what I did. I ordered 3 pupusas with beans and cheese. The pupusas are made fresh right in front of you on the grill, so the food took about 4 minutes to get to me. That’s fine with me because they were still piping hot when I got them home. I let em cool for a while and then I dug in. Put a little cabbage on one, a little bit of sauce, and I was good to go. These things are delicious! The concept is so simple but a great taste. I have a new local restaurant to frequent in Woodbridge. Annnnddddd, on top of all that, the prices are crazy reasonable. My 3 pupusas cost a grand total of $ 5.06. This was a meal in and of itself. I will be back to venture out further into the menu.

I’ve been here multiple times. I will admit, the pupusas are very good as well as the curtido. However, every single time I’ve come here they have taken nearly an hour to have my order ready. I went there again and this time they didn’t even put my order in! So the pupusas are good, but the service is terrible. Also, they don’t speak any English(except for one person who isn’t always working) so good luck if you don’t speak Spanish.

Fantastic papusas! We had the cheese, cheese and bean, and cheese and squash. All were excellent. The cheese, as others have said, is authentic. They come out warm and gooey. The slaw is bland, but the aji is good. The only reason this isn’t a five star is the slaw and the suspect looking ceiling. I was a little worried due to all the water spots and sagging tiles.

I’ve been wanting to go here forever and they sure didn’t disappoint! My friend and I came in for lunch to a half full restaurant. Very clean and also smelled clean despite all the food that was being made… ended up getting my order to go because I learned that my friend isn’t too open to trying different things(she ate avocado for the first time about a month ago smh). The lady who helped me make my decision was very helpful because I wanted way more but she told me that the pupusas locas are the best, a decent size and has everything on the list so… chicharron, cheese, ayote, beans, etc… I got two de maíz($ 2 each) and jugo de marañon(the fruit of the cashew tree, $ 1.50) to go. Never got to try it in Panama when I lived there :-(. With tax I spent $ 5.83. This is less than what you would spend at a fast food place and get mediocre food. This is fresh homemade authentic Salvadorian food. There’s so much more that I have to try! Very afforable and… delicious food. Beware: You might stare at the ladies making the pupusas and fresh tortillas because they do it with such finesse.

This place was alright this place is nothing compared to the one in Arlington. The yuca was cold. The pupusas were burnt couldn’t tell what it was and basically messed up our order. I only went here because there was nothing else around to eat but I really didn’t like it. The only think that was good was my drink Jugo De Marañon.

As others put it I would describe this place as «the real deal». The pupusas are really good and I highly recommend all of them. If you want a giant piece of meat its hard to beat the price and quality of the carne asada. Is it fancy? No not really, but its also something like what my mother in law would serve for dinner. Flavorful but simple. Give it a shot.

Good pupusas! I’m Salvadorian so i’ll tell you that this place is pretty authentic. I like their Queso con loroco pupusas they are delicious. Especially when they are made from masa de arroz. I don’t like how they make las revueltas because they put TOO much chicharron… It’s a little too meaty… other than that it’s really good and nice

If I actually liked pupusas I’d be a fan of this place. My El Salvadoran boyfriend LOVES this place; so much so he often drags us out of our way(we come from the 66 side of NOVA, no the 95 side) to eat here. When I can stomach pupusas, I ask for the rice flour ones(I can’t deal with corn) stuffed with squash — now THOSE are good. Stick with the pupusas if you’re a gringo… venturing to the other side of the menu can get tricky.
