The store is everything for $ 1 which is good… Some merchandise can be 79 cents or less… Usually I shop at the one in Parlin/Old Bridge, NJ Customer service seemed decent here… An employee(which was on her break) was yapping with clerk who then got distracted as a result… It has a dairy section which is good… The eggs is a must to stay away from… Purchased a dozen eggs from a a location in East Windsor and it was a disaster… always check to make sure no eggs were cracked…

This place is OK. The parking horribly situated in the middle of WalMart traffic. Expect cursing and rude car behavior.

Everything is $ 1. Yes, it’s true. I stopped by quickly on the way to an event and needed some last minute props. This place is huge and filled with some odds and ends items all for yes… $ 1. Bubbles, silly hats, sunglasses, scuba goggles, leis, the list goes on. I was super stoked for this cheap quick fix. Did they lack some items I would have wanted that they could have had? YES, I really wanted pirate eye patches and plastic swords but, I guess that’s ok. Are these items quality items? Hell no. But, for items that I’m sure will last a few go arounds, the $ 16 cost is well worth it. I wish all $ 1 stores stuck to everything for $ 1, I find that up in NYC area, the $ 1 store may mean some items are $ 1, some items are $ 1.50, some items are $ 3. This joint is keepin’ it old school and cheap… I like that!

Dollar Tree has a good selection of mylar balloons so when I needed a bunch, you know where I went. I went to the balloon area and waited as a manager spoke with an employee about procedures regarding the balloons. When the manager left, I asked the employee about blowing up some balloons and was told she would help me after she«wrote an email to district manager». I then left the store without balloons or purchasing anything else. It was a poor customer service experience, but as my husband said, «It’s a dollar store… what do you want?!?» :)
