Chick-Fil-A

If you plan on eating in, parking is a NIGHTMARE. You won’t find any parking whatsoever and you gotta circle for ever just to find a parking space. I gave up and decided to go to the drive thru and the woman at the drive thru was rude. On top of that, they put pickles in my sandwich when I asked for no pickles. Chik fil a is usually excellent in customer service but today was a huge disappointment.

I love this place! Thank you for coming to Lake Ridge! Great service as always! Don’t forget to ask for sauce since they are not mind readers.

Probably my worst ever Chick-​fil-​a experience was at the new Old Bridge road location. I forgot to ask for sauce and nobody asked if I wanted any (usually they ask at other locations) so I was a bit dissappointed as I drove away realizing I was missing my beloved honey mustard and ketchup. But I’ll take the fault for this problem. I know the new industry trend is to be cheap and never offer condiments — make sure you ask if you want it.
Then I went to drink my lemonade and realized there was no straw in the bag! Do we now have to ask for a straw to go with our beverage!!! Maybe I need to ask for the chicken and a bun on my chicken sandwich too?
Finally, to top it off, I open my sandwich and find the soggiest lettuce I’ve ever seen. It was like wet green plastic wrap stuck to the chicken. I peeled it off. Yuck!
Good thing their chicken and fries are awesome or this would be a 1 – 2 star review.

Who doesn’t like Chick-​fil-​a? And this new one is AWESOME! They really took notes from the others and did a great job with this place.
A few things that I loved immediately:
— lots of parking and the spots aren’t tiny so you don’t get dinged up. (I’m here on Saturday afternoon and the lot is packed!)
— an employee greeted me at the door with a big olé smile and asked me, «how is your day so far?» Better now that I’ve arrived! Super friendly and attentive.
— no line but the place is packed. They have plenty of staff working.
— they do this new thing that I haven’t seen before if you dine in. They give you this cone with your condiments and sauces of your choice and then you go choose where you’re going to sit. Then a staff member brings you your order. Restaurant service at a fast food joint!
— I’m eating at a high community style farm table built by A Better Way Ministries. See pic. Enough said.
— I just saw a couple sneak a quick smooch at their table as they watch their kiddos in the play area, having a blast.
— Another staff member is passing out samples of their new chicken tortilla soup. DELICIOUS!
I’ve been writing this review for less than 5 minutes and one staff member has already come around to offer me napkins and then another to top off my coffee. Really? Yup. Her pleasure.

Grand Opening day today! Staff is great and friendly! Nice Atmosphere and good kids play area. Food is great as always and Just love it

Well, the Chick-​Fil-​A in Lake Ridge is now open! And being the Chick-​Fil-​A fanatic that I am, I came here on opening day for lunch! Aside from being afraid that I could not find a parking spot, I noticed that this place is massive! It almost seemed overwhelming in a good way! Personally, this Chick-​Fil-​A broke all my expectations for a a new opening restaurant. My expectations were:
1. It’s new, they probably will be a little slow and they may make a few mistakes on food and service.
2. It’s opening on a Wednesday?! Considering that a lot of people work on Wednesday and that the Chick-​fil-​A opening in Dumfries did not have a big turn out on their opening day, this place won’t be that crowded.
Let me just say I was all wrong! This place was crowded, but the employees were fast (probably because they were overstaffed). I received no mistakes on my service or meal order. The food was great. This place definitely is up there on my ranking list for CFA’s in Virginia. I hope this place keeps their quality up and this was not just a «First Day Impression». Good Luck CFA Lake Ridge!
If I were to be picky about this place here are some things they need to do to tie and/​or beat the top CFA (in my opinion) in NoVA (on Liberia Ave):
1. Better staff interaction — Unlike people sitting around me, I had no connection or even conversation with the employees walking around the restaurant. I don’t really expect one, but if the employees are going around making their customers feel «at home and a part of the family», I and the people I came with would like to be apart of that «home and family» bonding!
2. Owner interaction — I did get to see the franchise owner here, but all he did was chat with other employees in a corner. It would have been nice if he was more involved with his customers and interacted more with his customers.
