If I were just rating the food it would be a 5 star review. The food is excellent! Chicken was fantastic! The hot tea isn’t worth the price, since it is just generic bag tea. This review is for the service. On my first visit to this location, it appeared only one man was working the entire lounge so our food and check took about 30 minutes to receive each. The man was apologetic, it was obvious that his staff called out due to lingering effects of the snow storm. The second time, about a week ago, it appeared that there were four waiters and 6 tables(5 small, 1 large table; family of 6) where seated. We waited for about 5 to 10 minutes up front to be seated. When a waiter showed, he kindly seated us and was never seen again. We waited 10 minutes more at our table, no waiter. When we glanced around we saw all the waiters behind the bar hugging and talking. So we just left. This locations dine in area isn’t particularly large and there weren’t that many seated guests. It was clear to me that these waiters weren’t interested in serving. I won’t be returning to this location.

Best chicken ever! The spicy is too hot but regular flavor is the best I’ve ever eaten.

This place is really quirky. I’ve eaten here many times. I love the fried chicken strips, and their other entrees too. The spicy hot sauce is too hot for me, but I recommend it to anyone who likes spicy fried chicken. For some reason the seats inside are often empty, but don’t let that stop you, the food is awesome!

I had Bön Chon for the first time at our office pot luck. It was super crispy and so good. So I got it for the first time on my own just this week. I got a combo of drum sticks(soy/garlic) and bone in wings(spicy). I also got the Salmon Avocado Ball because it looked so amazing in the photos that I had to have it. The Salmon was good. I loved the flavor of the sauces and the sear on the salmon. As I was eating it, I found I wanted more textural contrasts. Sometimes it became a bit one note in texture and I didn’t care for it. I’m not sure I’d order it again for that reason. I liked the flavors a lot, but I’m kinda big on not having too much mush in my mouth. But maybe next time I’ll eat it when some boneless wings just to break things up a bit. The spicy wings were good and I liked the flavor, although better the next day. I found myself wishing the chicken itself had more flavor as it seemed all the flavor was in the skin only. I thought the spicy could use more of a flavor profile instead of just the heat. Again, for some reason it tasted better the next day. The soy garlic drumsticks were much better to me flavor wise. I think because it was dark meat, the chicken itself had more flavor as well. As with the spicy, it was even better the next day. I think the soy garlic is definitely my favorite. I’m looking forward to trying their other dishes and sides and will for sure be back for more. You can’t really beat the crunch of that chicken!

We stepped into this BonChon location and were initially nervous, because 1) NOBODY was here, and it was a weekend evening. There was one server, a cashier, and us. 2) It was the only BonChon I’ve ever been in that had zero Korean people working. But we decided to stay and were pleasantly surprised. We got our usual two sauce wing combo along with rice, pickled radish, and some soda/beer. The wings(hot, crunchy, tender, and spiced!) were just as good as other BonChon locations, and came out a lot faster than usual. Service was friendly and our server took the time to explain a fun promotion they were running for the holiday. Woodbridge is certainly out of my way, but when I do venture out there, I see myself going back here for some more wings!

Best wings is the area. I recently tried the tuna ball(tuna, avacados, cucumbers, eel sauces) and fell in love. left the place thinking about my next visit. I would absolutely recommend this place. con — kitchen took long preparing the meals, but it is worth the wait

I’m going to keep this simple– their soy garlic chicken wings are to die for! Exceptional! Honestly the best chicken wings I’ve ever had, it puts regular American chicken wings to shame. It’s all I ever get from here, a definite must-try!

My favorite Korean Fried Chicken location. I’ve been a fan of «KFC» since the late 2000s with the Bön Chon in NYC, but this Bön Chon is my favorite. The variety of the menu here is beyond any other location. My favorites beyond the Korean Fried Chicken are the avocado salmon ball(amazing), the bulgogi sliders and the bibimbap. The fried rice is also great. If you’ve never had Japanese flavored beer, try the J-Pop. Nice service and very awesome place to watch some NFL football!

What else is there to say? Its BonChon! If youve never had the pleasure of these amazing double fried wings, take my word for it, theyre the best wings in VA. They come in two flavors, garlic soy, which is a sweet savory taste, and my favorite, spicy. Simple. I havent had the pleasure of dining in, I always use them however for fight parties and game days at the house. Make sure you call ahead bc they are made in a very specific way and you wanna give them enough time to get those wings perfect. Service when I picked up has always been fast and friendly also Ill add. Go there. NOW.

Expensive but the chicken is addicting. The store in itself has a good layout and is properly maintained.

I have to say, this gonna be my last visit(order) in bonchon, Woodbridge. It’s been over 6 months that I haven’t ordered from here. I am not sure it’s just my order at that day was not good or they changed the chief. But it was the worst taste ever. The wings were cut weird, for the past two years, I had never seen them cut the wings liked that way. Also, they were supposed to tasted like the garlic & soy sauce flavor, however, the wings tasted very bland. I just won’t try them anymore.

Stop here on Saturday night. Got a order of half&half and soy garlic. Good eating. The chicken is fried but not like your ordinary fried chicken. It is lightly fried and taste good. I will be going back here again real soon. Half&half is spicy but if you drink something the spicy is not that hot.

My Mom is quite picky on Asian fast food but she liked Bön Chon chicken a lot. She wouldn’t care for orange or sesame chicken but Bön Chon was delicious. I first tasted Bön Chon in NYC and this local Bön Chon in Woodbridge delivered the same quality of the Bön Chon I really liked a few years back in NYC. They are nicely located in a strip mall quite near Potomac Mills. I would go back again.

The food is always good. We recently took a large group and they loved it because they have no Bön chon near them. The korean fried chicken is the best, and the bulgogi tacos even better.

Bön Chon’s chicken wings are to die for! It’s so crispy and flavorful! Their fries are really good also but I wasn’t too crazy about their fried rice. The server that I see often(don’t remember the name) is always friendly to me and my boyfriend. The only downfall about Bön chon is the price. It is pretty expensive so I usually try to order during their lunch special. If you see a Bön chon, you gotta give it a try!

We stopped here on a Tuesday night for a(relatively) late dinner around 8:00pm. When we walked in the place was dark and dead(one family of 3 eating), 3 staff in the bar area. A waitress came to the front and grabbed menus. She looked very annoyed. So much so that I asked what time they closed, just to be sure. She tossed the menus on the nearest table and said, «10», over her shoulder as she walked away. Yeah, REALLY bad first impression. We waited for some time before the drink order was taken but that was okay for us because, being our first time here, we needed extra time to peruse the menu. Just know that service was not quick. We ordered bull dak(spicy chicken and rice cake — which we were warned was very spicy), bulgogi tacos, 50⁄506 pc wings, daikon radish and kimchi coleslaw. With a soda each, the bill was just over $ 45(not cheap). The bull dak was good, not really burn your mouth hot, but I like spicy. I liked that it was served on the skillet. I would have loved to have more rice cake(there were only 6 pcs on that huge plate). The size was good though. My husband enjoyed the tacos. The wings(as is noted over and over again in reviews) have a heavenly crunch. The spicy wings I found to be much hotter than the bull dak even. We both tried one and neither ate the third(will order soy garlic if we come back). The slaw was different, but eh. Unless you are a huge creamy slaw fan, I would prefer kimchi itself. The radish was much sweeter than other Korean radish dishes I’ve had. It was refreshing to have with the spicy foods. Bottom line is I’m glad we tried it. Food was good, but I like the to-go option(eat-in experience was not pleasant). I wouldn’t go out of my way to have it though.

The place was huge and there was only 1 server for the entire place. So service was painfully slow. It was warm inside since the AC wasn’t on, there was also a fly. I had the lunch special which were 2 drums and a side of rice. No radish included since I ordered the special. I think the radish should come with regardless. The seafood pancake was tasteless and rubbery. This branch pales in comparison to the other Bön chon I have been to.

This Bön Chon location used to be my favorite one. Key words: USEDTOBE. My friends and I were craving some chicken and I thought it would be a good idea to use my groupon deal I had bought a couple months ago. When we got there, we ordered the salmon avocado ball and we also ordered an XL combo of both soy garlic and spicy sauce. If you like avocado, salmon, and crunchy things, definitely try it out. It’s actually really good and unique also. The problem occurred when we got the chicken. I understand we got an XL so there’s a lot of chicken… but I don’t think that means mix the soy garlic and the spicy chicken into one plate. My husband and I wanted the spicy chicken and my friend wanted the soy garlic because she the spicy one was too spicy for her. We asked our waiter which chicken was which and then he started pointing EXTRA close to our chicken saying, «this one looks like it’s soy because it’s dark. this one looks like it’s spicy.» After playing the guessing game with our chicken, we told our server that we were planning to take our leftover chicken home and give the soy garlic to my friends boyfriend who couldn’t eat spicy food but we couldn’t now because it was mixed together. He brought the manager over and the manager was very accommodating to our situation apologizing and gave us 10 extra pieces of soy garlic to take home. Besides this incident, I had no problem coming here. The wait is a little long but it’s because they want to make your chicken fresh and it even says on their menu how it’ll take some time for the chicken to get ready. If something goes wrong, definitely try to talk to the manager.

Came here to try the chicken, it was on fleek. Got some take out, had a large order of garlic-soy combo. Ate the wings about 30 min after we got them, it was fresh and crispy. Flavor was a 8 out of 10. Call in ahead if time to start your order.
