Use to go to Tony’s Pizza on Dumfries road, Like the pizza, not the owner so much. Tony on Dumfries Rd consistantly gives bad attitude, wierd guy! four stars for the food, –1 star for the owner. Tried Armetta’s hoping to get same food without encountering affiliate Tony’s. Food was good but got sick from it. Do yourself a favor, go else where.

We love this place. Good atmosphere and great food. Angel hair pasta with meat sauce and the pizza is good too. My husband is from NY(and not easy to please) and he loves it!

Being from North New Jersey I love good Italian food. This place ain’t it. This place is mediocre at best. The food is bland and doesn’t taste fresh. They need to go back and work on flavor in their basic recipes. This food is supposed to be simple but it doesn’t work if all the ingredients aren’t fresh and used in the right proportion. I hope they can get it together. I will not be eating here for a few months. I’ll try it again then.

A great local Italian restaurant. I don’t like the chains and I used to drive across town to minniville and spriggs for sausage parmigiana sub from Angela. They now have Armetta’s here on the PWPKWY by the Niple building. Same great food and the best sandwich bread baked on site. The pizza was so fresh and delicious and the sausage parm did not disappoint. We ordered the Bolognese tortellini and it was a huge portion and was excellent. We killed the basket of bread and make sure you ask for some marinara sauce to dip. Nice selection of wines and the staff was very professional and friendly.

We stopped in for lunch and were a little shocked to see that the menu we got only had dinner pricing in it, until our server came to us and advised that they have lunch portions/prices too. The menu offers some nice options. Service was good and the restaurant was built/decorated very nicely. It’s still very new. The food tasted good, but was nothing special. I’d definitely go back and try some different items to get a better idea. Definitely worth trying out!

Far from a «family» restaurant. Service was deplorable and from what I gather it starts at the top. Average food with below average service. We have gone twice and tries to give it a shot, but left upset each time. Overpriced entrees as well.

I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you don’t mind rude service. I think the pizza is over priced but it’s ok if you live near by and don’t want to wait on delivery. I believe their calzones are the better option.

First time I’ve tried this place and glad I did. Been dying for decent pizza in this neck of the woods. Ordered carry out cheese pizza and chicken parm sub. Food was good and ready in less than 15 minutes. My daughter loved the pizza and she’s a connoisseur. Will be going back.

My family loves the subs and pizza! My only complaint is they are a bit pricey. I still chose to give 5 stars because the food is great.

Had Caprese Salad… Horrible the balsamic reduction was almost non-existant. Had the buffalo chicken sub, horrible. Armettas has went downhill last couple years to the point its unedible. Wont be back ever. The prices are riduculous period, if the food was good it would be one thing, its not. Eat here and good luck to you, hopefully its better for you then its been fir me the last five times I have eaten there. I have kept trying to give it a chance, chances are over.

Ate here for the second time tonight. Out party of four all got different entrees: chicken parm, champagne chicken, lasagna, and clam linguine. The portions were HUGE! You could probably share if you aren’t starving. Everyone was impressed with the quality and taste of the dishes. Pasta tasted very fresh and the chicken very tasty, too. We felt the prices were very reasonable($ 13-$ 18 for our dishes). It is nice to have a local restaurant that is not just another pizza joint, but serves excellent Italian dishes. Service was wonderful as well. We will return!

They say they’re open until 11 but why would they stop seating at 10? I think the woman just said that because they’re dead and wanted to go home early. Oh well, guess I won’t be coming back.

Food is decent. Provides a better than average dining option for this part of town. That part is welcome. Located right next to the County Center and in essentially a parking lot in front of an apartment complex. Because of that the crowds are never too big. Good option in a day you want decent food without waiting for hours at a chain. Chicken Parmigiana sandwich was ok. Pizza is ok. Haven’t had much else. The interior is clean although the layout is strange. I’m here for carry out most of the time as I live close. Staff is not unfriendly but they certainly don’t go out of their way for you. I would say safe 3.5 stars but I gave them a half star because of the lack of decent food options in their vicinity.

Got fried mushrooms and the chicken florentine. Both were plentiful and delicious. The mushrooms were fresh and marinaded in wine. The chicken florentine garlic sauce was perfect. Only criticism was that I would have loved more of the spinach, mushroom, sundried tomato stuffing to be incorporated into the pasta as well as on the chicken. The chef/cook has been taught well and the basics — tender chicken– mushrooms sautéed in butter and garlic– shine.

Ok. Not too satisfied. Ordered takeout chicken parmigiana and it contained a wirey item. Took the dinner back and the very rude server claimed it was a part of a Brillo pad!!! Well they wouldn’t refund and made another dinner hurriedly to get us out of the building. I refuse to eat here again

I’m probably going to feel bad for not giving 5 stars but I’ll get to the that shortly. The food here is absolutely wonderful. This is the neighborhood Italian place we have wanted since we moved here close to 2 years ago. The pasta dishes are excellent, the pizza is great(pizza turnover is a favorite) and the portions are huge. Prices are reasonable though not cheap. On food alone it gets 5 stars. The problem is the physical location. It’s in an office park and there particular space doesn’t seem to have been designed as a restaurant. It’s long and narrow and without the décor or ambience you normally see in an Italian restaurant. While not stopping my family from eating there often since they opened, I can see how it might be an issue for some folks.

Arrived about 11:45 before lunch crowd started. Ordered stuff shells which were plentiful and delicious. I had a Caesar salad also, The salad was okay, nothing special. The waitress was great and very attentive even when the lunch crunch started and she was the only waitress. I’ll be back to try their pizza. The restaurant is new and clean.

This is a new location for this local restaurant which opened about a month ago so we decided to try it. Our usual, small italian diner, Roma’s, down the street, recently went out of business. The décor is new and nice. I’m not sure why they placed the bathrooms where they block the windows and natural light, but the place is not that big so they may not have had a choice. There are nice stone accents, cool chandeliers, and solid wood tables. I thought the service ok. Not great but not bad. We were there at an odd hour, 4pm on a Sunday, but they had about 7 tables going with only one waiter. We waited a few extra minutes for the waiter to take our drink order, not long enough to ding them for it, but we were ready to order our meals when he finally came to the table. We ordered a hot italian sub and the seafood pasta entrée. First off, everything is ala carte. For the amount they charge for these dishes, I thought the sub should have included french fries and the seafood pasta a salad. They did put some bread and butter on the table but it was just an Italian roll cut into several pieces, not a fresh loaf. The sub was average. It was very light on meat and the meat did not have much variety or flavor. It was disappointing compared to what we were used to from Romas. The seafood pasta was very good. The tomato sauce was light and tasty, there were 4 good sized shrimp and several mussels and clams in this dish. I requested a substitute of wheat pasta which they were able to do. We will come back to try the pizza and maybe another entrée but this probably won’t be one of our new favorites until the business matures.

Armetta’s looks like a really authentic pizzeria the inside and out was beautiful. The waitress we got was very quiet not too talkative. I would have liked to be a little more welcomed there by a more friendly staff. Their pizza was great. We got the regular white. However, the garlic on the pizza was a little too strong for my taste. Other than that it was a nice experience.
