My fave Thai place! Food is so fresh & delicious! Fast delivery. The owners are so sweet. My fave is the tom yum soup and the appetizers are so good. I always go between the dumplings, spring rolls, mussels, and my favorite are the curry puffs. Husband loves the chicken pad see ew. Yum!

Don’t let the exterior of this place fool you! From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall restaurant, but when you walk inside it is completely different. I loved the atmosphere. The decorations and music are so calming. I felt like I was at a spa about to get a massage. On week days there are only two employees, the two female owners. We met one of them last night, and she was wonderful. She was very patient with my indecisiveness and offered some great suggestions. She was very attentive and made sure we always had plenty of water. The food came out very quickly, and everything was delicious. The pot-stickers were my favorite. They were seriously addicting. We also ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and the beef pad Thai. All of the ingredients were so fresh tasting, and the presentation was beautiful. The sauce on the drunken noodles was very light. I usually prefer more sauce and flavor, but it was a nice, lighter version of the dish. It was served with fresh jalapeño slices for added natural heat. The portions were generous, but since it was so light it was perfect. I will definitely be back!

Although I’m not an expert on Thai food, this happens to be the only Thai food that I have really enjoyed. The restaurant is such a cozy warm atmosphere and the waitress is so nice and more than happy to please you. On my first visit my parents & I were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed both the Pad Thai and the Pad See-Ew along with a Thai Salad. Again we were not disappointed with the delicious Rama Chicken and the Garlic Shrimp. This time we ordered dessert and shared a Fried Vanilla Ice Cream with chocolate sauce. Definitely a good choice, such a nice treat! Parking is plentiful on the street. Can’t wait to go back again!

Wanted to find a new Thai place. Well I just found one. The steamed shrimp dumplings were so delicious!!! I ordered thai fried rice with shrimp and my wife had the Pad See Ew with shrimp. The food was cooked to order, fresh and extremely DELICIOUS. The service was awesome. We will definitely be dining here again

Chok-Dee has improved over time, and i am happy about that. The restaurant now has a warm, cozy and welcoming feel inside. While here for dinner on a friday night, while there were a decent amount of people inside – they service was still good. The Tom Kha soup is a must have, very generous on the veggies that are in it too, but its also not too sweet. I am a sucker for curries, and it seems Chok-Dee knows how to make a curry or two. The Panaang Curry was delicious, it was thicker than ive normally had tho. Dont know if thats possitive or negative or thats how its supposed to be. But for no extra charge, get the brown rice with it. Its spiced and full of flavor — when it comes to the spice tho, its nothing unbearable so you wont be sweatin while eating this. And as usual, their plating was on point. A small little joint in a small town. but they know how to impress with the plating and how creative they can get…

Food and service were very good but the tableware and tables we dusty needs attention asap. I wiped off the dust from my plate before serving myself with my napkin and the glasses weren’t clean.

I would rate this place 3.5 stars. Ordered delivery and my food arrived in about an hour. There was no utensils provided with the meal. The pricing of the food was a bit expensive considering the serving size. The taste of the food was pretty good but the curry puffs were a bit greasy, tom yum soup was delicious and the pad lard na could have had more vegetables. I would like to try eating at the restaurant next time and hopefully experience will be more superb.

Nice and friendly staff. I ordered for delivery, the curry puffs are tasty but the papaya salad was way too spicy — painfully spicey and they never mentioned that. No utensils were provided not even napkins. Mediocre at best.

Excellent little place that is surprisingly and undeservingly quiet. Family owned and run, the food is authentic and beautifully prepared with real love. I’ve been for the superbly priced lunch several times, and it’s consistent. Service is happy and friendly. She remembers our favourites — like the stunning house wonton soup, and the curry puffs :) No hesitation in recommending this place. BYO with a liquor store next door too.

Wonderful Thai food! We chose 3 different dishes and loved all of them! Very gracious service and well priced. Visiting the City, but staying on the Jersey side. Much better dinner than what you would get in the City!

Excellent service and beautiful place. Even the silverware was gorgeous(see my photos)! It’s bit small, but could probably fit around 10 parties. Nice atmosphere and great service. The food was a little on the spicy side — my mom isn’t too good with spicy food, but when she couldn’t quite manage the Pad Thai, they remade it for her really quickly! If you’re not too good with spicy food, I suggest you say that before ordering. Food was pretty good, the Curry Puff and Chicken Satay appetizers were absolutely great, Pad Thai and Green Curry nothing to rave about, but still great. The cups and the way they make the Thai Tea is really cool too!

Excellent. I’ve been wanting try this place for a while, as I’m a big fan of Thai food. I checked out their takeout lunch menu and I couldn’t decide between a curry dish, a noodle dish, or a meat dish. After a bit of hemming and hawing, I decided to try the chicken with chili sauce. Now this was the first time, I’ve tried a chili sauce based dish. I wasn’t sure if it was gonna be spicy, as in, in your face, fire spice. I was amazed. Turns out the right amount of spice and flavor was added to the dish. The chicken went great with the sauce and mixed well with the string beans and other veggies. The lunch meal came with a choice of Thai wonton soup or a salad. I chose the salad with Thai peanut sauce. The meal was $ 8 and the portion size was smaller than I’d like. However, although the meal was priced about a $ 1 too much and the portion size was about a bite or two, too small, I’d still say this is a 5 star meal. I look forward to trying the other dishes here.

The food is delicious; however, they do not have a dedicated server. Our server was multitasking: seating, taking orders, serving and handling takeout. She did a great job and made sure everyone was taken care of as quickly as possible. If you are not in a big hurry, it is worth the wait for the food. We had the steamed shrimp dumplings, ginger shrimp and cashew chicken. All were better than what we have had at other local Thai restaurants.

The noodle dishes are more on the greasier side, which I don’t like. Sloooww delivery. They would tell you 30 minutes while it’s actually 1 hour

Tonight I went in to have dinner with my husband and my son. The restaurant decoration is pleasant. We like the color of the place and the flowers all around the restaurant make it even more welcoming. For appetizers we had: Steamed Mussels –fresh mussels with Thai herbs. Curry Puff –Thai style puff pastry appetizer stuffed with chicken and sweet potato served with cucumber salad. Chicken Satay –grilled marinated chicken in coconut milk served with peanut sauce and cucumber salad. Vegetable Spring Rolls –served with sweet chili sauce. Then came the entrees: Tamarind Duck Curry –Crispy half duck in tamarind juice, coconut milk and red curry. Chili Fish –Crispy filet of fish with garlic and sweet chili sauce. Pad Lard Na Tofu –Stir fried flat noodles with Chinese broccoli topped with Thai style gravy. As for desserts, we tried Chocolate Mochi Ice Cream and Fried Ice Cream with Chocolate sauce –both were yummy! =) The whole dining experience was lovely. Our server is very friendly and attentive. They have a big selection of Thai food and we wish we could have ordered more. We left the restaurant happy, satisfied and stuffed =) Even my son who usually is a picky eater –he managed to tried all the appetizers we ordered and loved them! He even finished the noodles dish all by himself =) =) All in all –we love Chok-Dee Thai! We’d definitely be back! By the way, we were so lucky to have a chance to talk to the chef and learned the secret of her tasty foods –she used several herbs and vegetables grown and freshly picked from her own backyard. How amazing! Thank you Chok-Dee Thai for this wonderful meal!

At this place finishing up dinner from a groupon we bought. The red curry shrimp was out of this world– we started with the fish cakes, the cucumber sauce to go with the cakes was absolutely delectable. The other pictures seem deceiving with little food; MORE than enough, lovely atmosphere. My boyfriend thought the panang was a bit too spicey but keep in mind he’s not a spice guy, he still licked his plate clean. Tip: Try to avoid the booth under the face mask sculpted the old heater slammed all meal. We’ll be back! The owner was a delight to serve us. Good was surprisingly elegant and just enough spice. I’ll be back for sure
