I hadn’t been here in years, but I was put in charge of ordering 15 pizzas for a last-minute workplace luncheon, and I was tired of the places in Burlington so I trekked over. I had forgotten how outstanding it is! We ordered some cheeses, linguicas, pepperonis and several of the Specials, and the whole crew loved them. There were no leftovers at all. I also appreciated that they turned it around so quickly(about an hour), which was more than reasonable for the size and last minute nature of the order. They helped me load it into the car too. To share a quote from our lunch– Me: «This is definitely the best pizza in the tri-town area». Coworker: «Which three towns?» Me: «Doesn’t matter».

Best pizza around period. I’ve tried Boston’s most famous pizza places, Regina, santarpios, etc, no need to go all the way to the city when this place is just as good if not better. Anyone around the area will tell you this is the best pizza

It’s been a challenge to find a good pizza place here in Lexington. I believe the search is now over. It’s Louie’s for me now going forward, only 8 minutes from the corner of Lexington. The pizza was great, crust was fresh and love how the pepperonis curl when they get cooked. Can’t wait to try some of the others(Maggio & Louie’s Special). Well done Louie’s!

Having a hard time finding great pizza in or around Woburn. This place was recommended. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great. The guy behind the counter was very nice and personable.

Finally, A pizza place which lives up to all the hype. This pizza is REAL. It may take the taste buds of someone like me, who has been eating local Italian pizza, for well over a half a century, to discern authentic Italian pizza, from the new want to be’s. And when I use the term Italian, I mean the best Italian-American pizza. Pizza in Italy, is a whole different thing. They start with an amazing crust, then add top quality ingredients. But it’s the crust they make, which can’t be duplicated. It can be imitated, but not duplicated. I praise this place, for honoring their tradition and reputation, for which their family worked so hard to earn. So often, when handed the reins from the past generation, the new breed desecrates their memory, letting go of the reins. These guys still produce a pie, that’ll make you sigh. Yeah Baby.

Yay, best pizza in the area. I love the Louie’s special(substitute peppers for hot cherry peppers). I like pizza with lots of toppings :) I don’t even live in Woburn but drive there to get it. Definitely worth it. You should give it a try! And bring some cash because it’s cash only.

The pizza took 1 ½ hours, they got the order wrong on both pizzas, it was overcooked and the slices that weren’t were average. There are better options in the area.

What a great place! After hearing about this place for the last 4 years, I finally made the trip before going to the Zoo and glad I did. Due to being a Friday night during the dinner rush, it was evident that they were very busy(a good sign) yet seemed to be mostly pickup orders since there was plenty of room to dine at one of the four tables. We ordered a cheese pizza with high expectations from what we heard about Louie’s and they did not disappoint. The pizza was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy as they advertise and the crust was incredible. My girlfriend said that it was the best pizza she has had, and I wouldn’t disagree! In addition to the food, all of the employees from the gentleman at the front counter to the owner were incredibly hospitable and checked on us continuously during our time there. I would say this place is a must try to anyone in the area or even worth a road trip to cure that pizza craving! Recommend calling ahead especially on a Friday night since obviously the word is out that this place is great

Ordered pizza here for pickup. The pizza was fine, no complaints, but nothing compared to what the reviews on here are saying. It was not life altering pizza or even close to New York pizza like I read in some reviews. The crust was quite thick and chewy and wayyyy too little cheese. As I said beofre, it was fine, but I won’t go out of my way again to get it.

Excellent pizza! My coworkers like to order pizzas from here from time to time for lunch, and I am hooked. The crust is amazing. It’s not too thick and doughy – it’s baked to perfection. I tried a mushroom slice, a pepperoni slices and a vegetarian slice. I have decided that I will need to order a pizza to take home. However, I was told only a certain number of pies are made per day, and once they are all out they are out!

Excellent crispy and chewy crust, quality ingredients and a nice tangy sauce. Loved it! FYI, 14″ size only, and cash only.

PROS: I loved the old school pizzeria feel. Louie’s Pizza maintains a very modest interior and keeps it classic. The ingredients are fresh and you have to be careful not to burn your tongue — the pies are made to order. Service is also very friendly. CONS: I only had Louie’s Pizza once driving through town and I wasn’t the biggest fan of the dough. The sauce was delicious and the cheese was cooked well too but I thought the dough wasn’t soft enough and the crust didn’t have a chew. Given all the rave reviews, I had my hopes up and I’m disappointed in what I got but I like to think it was just a onetime thing.

Super old school and fantastic quality outside of the city. Crispy, even crust and nicely flavored/seasoned sauce. Why can’t more pizza places be like this? It’s so popular that it’s sometimes hard to get through the phone line to make an order. We swing by to eat in the shop if we can. I love this place and wish it was closer to me!

Classic Italian pizza. Limited hours due to the limited crust. Sauce is made from Scratch and this place is probably the best pizza around. It is better then Regina’s or Santarpios which says alot. CASHONLY and only open until 7ish also be prepared to wait about 30 – 45 minutes but your taste buds with thank you.

Disclosure: I eat more pizza than anyone I know. Not bragging, not exaggerating, I’m actually kind of ashamed because its gross how much my life depends on pizza. Ive had a lot of pizza that I really love. But I can say confidently this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I don’t know how they do it. But they do it. Anyone I’ve recommended this place to has been really impressed. I’m actually having it tonight. What’s up randy. Also they make the dough fresh daily, buy fresh ingredients weekly, and it gives you super human powers. Last time I ate it I turned into a bald eagle and flew to the Middle East and dropped tomahawk missiles on ISIS and established a working form of democracy in Iraq. I flew home to a welcoming crowd of thousands and received the Medal of Honor. All in a day all in the name of Louie’s pizza. Disclosure: The last part is slightly exaggerated but everything else is not

I have eaten here once and did take out also. Pizza is very yummy, served hot, crust is nearly perfect. I like a little more char, but that did not take away from the yumminess. Staff is VERY attentive, always smiling and happy to help.

Honestly the best pizza I’ve had in years. The family is so friendly and they honestly remember almost everyone who’s ever been in. I would recommend the tomato and basil pizza. No sides just pizza, but it’s prefect.

So I’ve now had 3 experiences with Louie’s pizza. Twice I have done take out cheese pie and on my most recent experience I did the leftover pizza test on a pepperoni and pepper pizza. A couple minutes in the toaster and it was just as good as it was when I got the fresh ones. This place is old school. You won’t find truffle oil, goat cheese, or even bacon on their pizza just the old fashioned stuff. The negative to this place is their hours, most days they close at 7PM making it tough to get a pizza after work
