Went there today and it’s gone … empty storefront, sign is gone from the building. Too bad, wasn’t a bad place for lunch.

Food was fine, but customer service was very poor. Walk in at 630(they close at 7) and employees let out an audible sigh at the sight of customers. Friend ordered a burrito with no onion, she got a bowl with added broccoli for some reason? Took forever to ring us up. Felt like they skimped on the food quite a bit, as I’ve been to the same one before. Just a strange experience.

Gross. I’m super low key & it’s easy to please me but this place is just nasty. 70% of the stir fry is carrot slivers & my smoothie tastes like it has medicine in it

Loved it. Staying here ar the nearby Hilton. Very glad I found a healthy eatery that serves gluten free yummy bowls. Will try their salad or stir fry in the next few days.

Cobb salad has no avocado. Therefore, the cobb salad is a lie. A lie, liberally studded with astringent, odorous scallions. Further your reviewer sayeth naught.

I don’t like this location, it is different from the Natick and Newton ones. I came in for stir fry and they didn’t have the veggies laid out so I could choose them. I usually get 2 bowls of veggies and no rice/noodles…ok that’s fine, I asked the server to give me extra veggies and extra water chestnuts in particular until she informed me there is no water chestnuts. .hmm no Bueno. mushrooms? Nope… so I got a ton of carrots and cabbage, maybe 2 pieces of broccoli. Won’t be back to this location again. The 2 stars are for the great cactus BBQ sause.

Nice selection of items on the healthier side. The portions are pretty small for the price but everything was tasty.

Chains are never highly rates on Unilocal but Fresh City is a good place for lunch, for sure! A group of us tried different meals, all of them were good enough. No lines, fast service. The interior isn’t that exciting :)

I’m tired of corporate america not giving me enough chicken in my meals. You fall right in line with this now fresh city… Whatever your preferred measured serving is, it ain’t enough… It was a good run but a $ 10 bowl with about a tablespoon of chicken doesn’t cut it anymore for me. Peace out !!!

met my GF for lunch today. She eats there often. I got there early and ordered for both of us. I got the Korean BBQ stir-fry with shrimp. It was cooked right in front of me in a wok. GF got terriyaki chicken stir-fry. They both came over your choice of rice or noodles. They were very good. Shrimp were cooked right and veggies were still crunchy and fresh. Enough for 2 meals. They have salads, wraps, stir-fry and burritos. any combo of stuff you would want. Prices weren’t bad for the amount of food and quality. Outdoor seating as well. A good lunch place.

My daughter and I stop here once a month when we are in town and it is a favorite of ours. The chicken stir fry is delicious and it is loaded with veggies, chicken and rice. My favorite sauce is the satay peanut. Generous portions and always fast service.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today for the first time. There was hardly anyone in the lines and we got in the line for stir fry. We stood and waited for someone to take our order for several minutes with no one acknowledging us. Then finally when one of the cooks decided to take my order he seemed very agitated and I felt rushed. It was my first visit there so I asked if I could get a chicken stir fry with veggies and asked if I could get mushrooms. He had the audacity to tell me that I couldn’t get mushrooms on it… Ummm, not a good move. Then he turns his back after my order and completely ignores my husband who hadn’t even placed his order. We assumed he would take both of our orders as we were obviously together. After standing waiting again for him to take my husband’s order we decided to just leave. We ended up discovering an excellent Indian restaurant nearby with an exquisite cuisine and wonderful service! Ambassador Indian Cuisine was amazing! Will never visit Fresh City again but definitely going back to Ambassador. So thanks Fresh City for the lousy service because you sent my husband and I to a much better place!

The portions they offer for a meal is very small and yet charge you top $. Recently I ordered a rice plate which looked very small so I asked to add some onions and beans. They added extra charge for everything and asked me to pay $ 11.50 for a rice plate which still looked small. Their burrito seems like almost half the size of Chipotle yet price is similar or higher.

I am from Louisiana and I’ve been in Woburn for two weeks on business. So far I’ve eaten at Fresh City twice and it was great both times. I had the vegetable stir fry and a cancun burrito. The ingredients all taste very fresh and of high quality. The portion sizes are pretty big and are very filling. The prices are very reasonable too. My burrito was pretty big and full and it was $ 8 with tax, my stir fry was around the same price.

First time at one of these places. The food is tasty but not worth the money. It was fast and walking distance from my office. I feel that $ 10 for 3 strips of chicken and some rice is excessive though. And it was cold. Outdoor seating is nice. Good to know it’s close but it won’t be a staple.

Live in the area and have ate here twice in the last two weeks. Food — good fast casual food. Lots of options and is a solid lunch option in this particular area of Woburn. Quality — again, good for the fast casual sector. Service — have not went during the rush but they have always been great in terms of service. Fast and friendly. Will definitely go back and get the stir fry.

I had wondered why the one in Burlington closed. I think I know why now. Management, wake up! I just finished a salad. I wonder why the cukes and tomatoes were partially frozen? And the parts that had melted… well that just added water to my salad, which diluted the dressing. I literally had to «dry» my salad with a paper towel. The chicken — I had to throw out most of it, lots of(gagging as I write this) cartilage and just nothing I would even give to a dog. So over $ 8 for a salad with chicken, and I’m still hungry. 2 weeks ago I got a stir fry, which I used to love. Apparently they have changed the portion sizes(but not the price). I asked for extra vegetables(usually it’s zuchinni, peppers, onion, etc) and I laughed when I got back to work and open the package — my extra veggies consisted of a huge scoop of shredded carrots. Oh joy. Oh, and it was about 150 degrees in there. I was sweating, just standing there waiting for my order, who would want to dine there with it so hot? I feel bad for the workers, who I must say were all very friendly, good customer service but bad food. I won’t be back and that sucks because this place used to be good.

Oh, Fresh City, how I used to adore you. You used to be awesome, really, but recently you’ve changed. You started by changing your protein portion sizes. Then you wouldn’t let me select my own stir fry ingredients. I noticed you started letting yourself go. You didn’t clean your bathrooms as much– the tables weren’t cleared off as quickly. Your wait times were longer than ever, and the food lost that punch it used to have. You’ve changed, Fresh City. I don’t think this is going to work out.

Yikes, this place is a wreck. I ordered a burrito bowl with salmon to go, which I’ve had at other locations. It took forever, I was waiting for fifteen minutes, during which I had to explain my order no less than three times. And even then, they tried to charge me for a teriyaki bowl. I was the only customer there. And there were two people behind the counter working on my order. With this 2:1 ratio, I thought for sure I’d be in and out in just a few minutes. Finally, I had my order in my hand, and I had to wait as the employee at the register took a new customer’s order before ringing me up. I ate the salmon(did not get sick from it) which was slathered in a weird herby sour cream, and the guacamole, but the rice it sat on was simultaneously gummy AND dry. Figure that out. With a drink, this was not a cheap meal, but it certainly tasted like it.

I’m certainly not in love with this place, but I often enough come here to break away from a mundane day in the office. If you’re a first timer, it can be confusing on how to order your food. You have three separate stations: Smoothie, hot and cold. It will help to study the menu before walking into the restaurant and knowing exactly what you want. During lunch time, you’ll see lots of black suits parading, hungry for their mid day meal. Tip: Know where to stand. Once you’ve ordered, you’ll receive a blue piece of paper with your order on it.(Not very green-friendly, but that’s just my take. But, honestly — how many times a day can someone forget what they ordered in order to pay for your meal?) If you’re ordering more than just one thing:(e.g., salad a smothie), you will need to hop from station to station, instead of ordering what you request all at once. However, my experience yesterday was actually very good; probably the best that I’ve ever seen of all the times I’ve been here. Although, there is one little lady who just creeps up on you out of no where, letting you know where to pay at the register. –Thanks lady, but I think the little computers would’ve flared my Spidey Sense on knowing where to pay. Management was nicer and her staff was very decent! I was very surprised, knowing how the staff used to be. I approve.
