This place would not be in business if they did not have a captive crowd in the building they are located in. There is nothing close by other than a high priced steak house so they get business by default. The are way over priced for food that is what you would find in lowly cafeteria. Expect to pay $ 8 – 12 for a fair salad bar and more if you want a real lunch. I find myself stuck eating here in the winter sometimes and dread it do much I often skip lunch. The owner, I assume she is the owner, is a sour puss and never smiled of has anything nice to say. I am not looking for a friend, but you can at least provide some friendly customer service. None of the staff is very nice. They all act as though they are doing you a favor by allowing you to pay way too much for crapy food. If you are stuck in the Trade Center and are starving to death I can only suggest the soup. Nothing to write home about, but it will get you out the door for under $ 10. Be warned the clam chowder is really potato soup with a handful of clams in the pot. You are far better off going across the hall to the Duncan Doughnuts. Not that DD is a haven of culinary delights, but far better than this hole. While I don’t wish anyone go out of business, I do hope the next restaurant that goes in when this one dies is much better.

Place is awful. Could be a cash cow but there is no inventiveness in menu and the main manager/chef has an awful attitude towards customers. Blah.

Great breakfast every time! Appreciate the staff being flexible when ordering. They are always willing to change something to my liking even if it is their daily special.

A huge downgrade from the place that preceded it. Overpriced and slow. You can ask to customize your order, but it’s a roll of the dice whether you’ll get what you asked for. This was a one-star restaurant for the first 6 – 9 months it was in operation, but they seem to be trying to improve things. The ordering process can be comical at times. The cashiers have the personality of Soviet bureaucrats. There’s a big menu you can order from — but the cashiers generally can’t answer any questions about specifics. After you order, you walk around to the pickup area, where you join the 10 other people who were in front of you and have yet to receive their order. There’s usually a look of confusion and panic on the faces of those preparing the food. I once waited 30 minutes for two orders of their slider plates because I had customized one of the plates(instead of one burger, one chicken salad, and one tuna, I had asked for three chicken salad sliders). It took two line cooks to figure out what the order receipt meant. After 20 minutes or so a manager got involved and started yelling at his staff indiscriminately to get the order done. Not once did they ask me to clarify the order. On my next visit, I picked up a Sabra hummus«snack pack.» I opened it in my office upstairs and thought that the hummus tasted tart. Turns out the hummus had expired weeks ago(and it showed). They offered a refund or an exchange. I opted for the latter — but all the hummus on the shelf had expired as well! The salad bar isn’t atrocious. The prepackaged wraps and sandwiches aren’t terrible — but they are extremely plain. Mustard would be exotic. The turkey wrap is little more than turkey, cheese, and lettuce in a wrap. Can’t we have Dana’s back?

I feel bad being the first reviewer and not having anything positive to say but«it is what it is» as they say. This restaurant is a far cry from the restaurant they replaced. The food is bland and very pricey. I don’t think you get any value. I got a small grilled chicken wrap with a drink and it was over $ 10. The staff is not friendly and the business itself does not seem welcoming at all. It’s pretty empty most of the times I’ve been there(and I have given this place several chances) which I think supports the fact that I can’t give it a positive review. Such a shame, it’s a convenient location but definitely not worth it.
