My fiancé and I recently purchased our first home and could not be happier with the services provided by Ken and Kirk at First Commerce. Ken made the preapproval process a breeze and was very easy to work with. He was thorough in answering all of our questions and took the extra time to make sure we understood all of our options throughout the entire process. As first time home buyers it is easy to get overwhelmed with the paperwork and financial decisions that need to be made, but Ken and Kirk gave us all the information to make the right decision. Kirk was very helpful when it came to the paperwork we needed to provide before closing. A checklist was provided and he updated us regularly. Whenever we had a question a phone call or email was returned within minutes. The closing estimate was spot on and there were no surprises. We live 30 minutes away from their Wixom office, and at first I thought we might want to choose a loan officer in our town because it would be more convenient. I am so glad we didn’t. They are definitely worth the extra drive! I could not be happier with the service they provided and I will definitely go back in the future!

I recently refinanced a home through First Commerce Financial, my first time ever doing so. They made the process unbelievably easy and I could not have asked for a smoother, more painless experience. The first thing I did was compare rates with various large banks in my area, as well as Quicken Loans. But honestly, I wanted to stay local and go through a smaller office to feel a more 1-​on-​1 experience.
So, that’s what I did.
Everyone in the office was all smiles and Ken Turkington especially made everything simple from day one. This was a big step for me so I wanted to feel like my needs, concerns and questions were being answered honestly. I now know they were. At the drop of a hat, they’d help me out, via e-​mail, phone call or in person. Truly a blessing.
Overall, I can’t say enough about the First Commerce Financial office. They are professionals who have certainly perfected their craft. I haven’t heard of anyone having a bad experience with them. A big thanks to them on being so great.
