Winthrop Mountain View Chalets

We will come back to these adorable chalets and stay every time we are in Winthrop! They are adorable and absolutely spotlessly clean! We stayed in cabin 6 with our dog and it was perfect! Susan, the owner is so kind and very accommodating. The chalet usually has a 3:30 check in time and she happily had the chalet cleaned and ready for us to check in at 12:30. They are close to town and very private. You definitely get the winter cozy snow cabin feel here!

Coming off of five days in Seattle at a hotel that didn’t have A/​C or many creature comforts, the Winthrop Mountain View Chalets were a welcome respite! The owner had made sure to create a mini-​home inside every tiny cabin, and the little extras we found in Cabin 4 were much-​appreciated. Each cabin has its own parking space right out in front. You walk in to a small square foyer area, with a closet to the left and a bathroom to the right. The bathroom includes any extras you would expect, including a hair dryer. Walking a few steps forward, you have a fully-​stocked kitchen, with microwave, coffee maker, sink, plates and utensils, and refrigerator. A small eating nook with two stools is just ahead, and cute loveseat/​sleeper placed just at the food of the bed. This little loveseat was sufficient when folded out to sleep my 10– and 8-​year olds for a night. A sliding door opens to a wooden terrace, with a view of the RV park below. This place has all the little touches that make you know a woman decorated it, avoiding the stark utilitarianism that we experienced in our Seattle hotel. With the exception of a slightly temperamental A/​C unit (which hubby easily figured out), we were so happy with our stay. We wished we could have stayed at least another day, but alas, the road called!

We had a really wonderful experience here. The cabin is really nice inside and had all the things we needed. It was really quiet and we felt like we had a lot of space to ourselves. The office staff was really very nice. Also, the price was more than reasonable which is always great. We will definitely go again.
