Greeted when I walked in the door wasn’t sure what I wanted and finally landed on the chicken/​pasta/​broccoli dish– and was given the option to get it with garlic & oil vs a cream sauce (very glad that was offered — probably wouldn’t have thought to ask) — it was $ 10 but ended up being enough for 2 meals. Great amount of chicken, tender ziti, and broccoli sautéed in a pan to perfection. Loved it– so well done I would definitely recommend this place based on my experience. OUTSTANDING!

Great food. Large portions. Nice people. So awesome during the summer when you can sit outside.

Just heard about this place from a friend who knows we love outside dining. Didn’t go inside except to ask for directions to the outside seating so can’t comment on the actual restaurant. Very small though. I think most of the seating is outside in the good weather only. The outside seating is literally on the edge of their parking lot, with about 8 tables, but wow, what a view! It’s right next to a marina so pretty view of the water & boats, plus all the way to the city. I had a chicken kabob salad which was average, and my husband had an eggplant parm sub, which he said was excellent. Had no idea it was BYOB, since Unilocal says Beer & Wine Only. It’s actually that you can bring beer & wine only. Totally BYOB.

We celebrated a friends birthday here on Monday. Lobster rolls all around. Really a fun lunch, harbor side, marina view, what could be better on a nice summer day. If the weather is not good for al fresco dining it is more of a to go place than a restaurant. Love that it is byob

Nice little place with outdoor seating by the water from memorial day through September depending on weather. Very nice people, try the yuca fries!

Great Service and Great Food! And I was reading some other reviews the owner is a lady and she seems amazing she came and spoke to my family and I as we ate. The gentleman they’re referring too as «Mr. Crabs» is not the but he was as sweet as could be my family and I! I don’t know there situation they spoke of, but may be he had an off day people shouldn’t be so quick to judge. I asked about the patio in the back it opens next week actually I’m excited for it because I’ll definitely be coming back! But let’s get back on point the FOOD! For myself I had the special a Carne Asada Burrito that was made to perfection there combination of ingredients along with the seasoning was more than spectacular and surpassed my original expectations being that I just moved from California! My wife had a steak sub she said it was amazing! They had plenty of steak and she asked for grilled peppers and onions on it with the bread toasted they said no problem and it came out perfect! My wife can be a food critic, but she was in heaven! Now i knew this place was great when they specially made fresh cut fries an grilled chicken breast cut up for my daughter (2yrs old) she is the toughest to feed, but she ate everything and asked for more! I’ve already suggested this place to some of my friends as I am regular here now! I would highly recommend this place to try because you’ll be surprised as how good it with the price being so reasonable!

A friend and i heard about this place over the summer. We were waiting on the owner to finish speaking with a customer about a menu and to ask if our dog could sit out on the back patio with us. Not only did he not acknowledge us But I had to say excuse me and get his attention to which he replied «what?»
I asked for a menu and if it would be okay if the dog could come in the back his answer was «absolutely not, I can’t have the liability».
That’s fine I understand some places don’t want dogs– but the whole attitude thing?
See ya later Mr. crabs (pun intended). I’ll go to belle isle for the better lobster roll any way!! and sit out on their new deck that’s opening this summer!

Very very good ! Ingredients were delicious. Done simple and fresh.
No crazyness just good food ! Will be going back .
Oh I had the grilled chicken sun with lettuce onions and mayo and tomato
And also a mozzarella prosciutto basil sub. With tomato too .
Mmmmmmm I never eat a full sub but this was so good I wanted to eat the whole thing. Thank you !!!

Really can’t say enough great things about this amazing place. The food is always delicious and homemade. The staff is helpful and friendly. They not only have the normal pizza shop staples like great pizza and subs, but the specials and other menu items are delicious. Also where else can you find a delicious large hand tossed pizza with homemade sauce for $ 8.00! Millie’s sold me since day one and I will always recommend them and return for more.

Cute little hole in the wall restaurant. Walk in to not much seating but there is a big outdoor area of patio sets in back right on the water. Beautiful view. Everyone working there is so nice and helpful. Food was very good. Don’t let the initial front store appearance detract you as this was a very good experience.

Great service, great food. Lobster rolls were full of sweet and succulent meat.
We had a Unilocal deal and they still ended up charging less than we owed them.

Not your typical sub shop. Fantastic family run restaurant. Fresh ingredients, great items made w love, awesomely priced. Never disappointed in 8 months.
Great: Italian sub, chicken kabob salad (salad made with 100% romaine!), lobster stew/​chowder, chicken fingers, steak n cheese sub, clam chowder
Maybe pizza could use a little more cheese and lobster roll a bit too much mayo for my taste.

I have never wanted to take the time to sign up for Unilocal,but after seeing this spot only had one star, i had to react. I see michelle beat me to it for the same reason.
I have lived in the Throp for 6 years now an have made all the food rounds… This town has a bunch of gems and Millie’s kitchen just made the «best takeout/​sub shop» category. I keep my boat at the yard adjacent to Millie’s and i frequented the prior two spots that were in her space, they were just average, and average wont cut it here unless your nicks place. (No idea why so many people go there) Millie’s will be around for a long time, because in Throp you just need good food to stick around… if not, you will ignored by the small population and fail. Millie cooks with love and passion, and it’s evident in every bite.
Things i have tried:
Lobster Chowder — best and only I have ever had.
Sausage Pizza — was good but think pizza center has the edge in best Throp pie. Tasty sausage though.
Cheese burg sub — best I have had, seasoned ground beef and diced veg.
Steak and cheese sub — real steak cooked on grill
Turkey sub — very solid, again with diced veg… the perfect blend in every bite.
Chicken fingers — tried my sons and they were good — for fingers, nice seasoning.
Lobster roll — great price, could use less mayo IMO.
Did I mention they deliver to any boat in Throp harbor in mooring or dock via dinghy? I will soon be ordering from the mooring field when Dire Wolf is in the water.
I guess I will be reviewing more spots now that I have an account.

horrible pizza. almost white in color, as if it had just warmed up in the oven. not enough cheese and the cheese that was on it was not mozzarella or at least did not taste like it. so the whole thing basically tasted like pizza bread with some tasteless white stuff on top. tomatos were ok. service was ok. but girl at the counter did not seem very competent. we asked what additional toppings they had and she couldn’t remember any but mushrooms… delivery is not free and the pizza rather pricey.
