John was absolutely incredible! Our wedding was perfect. He showed up at the house on time to take photos of me finishing getting ready, then made his way to the church to get photos of the groom and groomsmen before we arrived. Even though it was freezing (our flowers couldn’t be outside for more than 2 minutes or else they would’ve wilted), John was willing to stay outside to take my anticipated outdoor photos at the pond near our house. John even got us to go on the pond to take the photos. He noticed my nose and arms getting a bit red, so he had me go back in our bus to get warmed up before going to take more photos. He was never hard to find and was always willing to get a photo we asked for. He was fantastic in handling our complicated family situation and he helped make the day run super smoothly and we were definitely grateful! The photos are absolutely beautiful and we are so excited that he captured our day so perfectly!

We used Beacon Photography to help our company brighten our walls with framed artwork of Boston. Of course, we were planning an event and wanted it done as quick as possible. John Munson had some beautiful photos of the Boston area that he enlarged and framed, as well as purchased, matted and framed Boston sports photos for one of our conference rooms walls. Not only did he get the project done, he took it to the next level and came to our office after hours and hung them all so that our space would be ready for our event. It was a pleasure to work with John. The customer service, photography, and quality was excellent.

My husband and I hired John for our wedding.
We liked him a lot. He is very fun and sweet. We were very much looking forward to working with him.
As with any vendor for a wedding, you sign a contract. Time/​date clearly printed on that contract my husband and I signed.
John didn’t show up for our wedding, because he booked the wrong day on the ferry.
We were very lucky to find someone else in less then 10 minutes to shoot our wedding.

We’ve had some family pictures done by John on a handful of occasions and they have always been outstanding. More importantly, John is a terrific person who will work with you on what you want to do.

Not only is John affordable and great to work with, he’s very flexible and receptive to any situation or idea. We had an outdoor wedding, then were on the subway, then on a boat. John’s imagination took advantage of each setting and provided us a truly diverse range of photographs to honor our day. We were extremely grateful we chose Beacon Photography.
