Love the Bull Dog of coffee. Enjoy sitting on the porch drinking it. The wait is not as enjoyable. Go several times per week. I wish customer service was just a little faster.

Best chai latte I’ve ever had and very good bran muffins. Chill quiet spot I like to go to so I can get away from all my fellow students at uc davis. Waitresses are really nice too.

My favorite is the Turkey Cranberry. I thought I was the only one but apparently it’s very popular.

The best coffee shop pit stop for cyclists in the area. Fresh coffee and food all day. Coffee and bagel under $ 5.

This is our dream-come-true, small town coffee shop/café. The new management is great! Just can’t say enough great things about Steady Eddy’s… some good coffee!

Great little coffee shop located in Winters. I haven’t eaten anything here, but I can tell you the coffee is great. I’m simple so I just order a Mocha. The staff is very friendly, they always have a smile on their faces and seem never to be mad at each other/themselves/guest. So that make it a plus.

The food is pretty good here, very slow service though. Don’t go in a hurry. Coffee is great even though much more expensive than most. Several of us have stopped in near 3:00 to buy coffee to go. Staff is always annoyed with us and let’s us know they are closing in a few minutes. I suppose by then they have made enough money since there is no changing the closing time even though the restaurant is full of customers wanting to buy something.

It’s all about the Turkey Cranberry Club on a croissant! Love coming here for lunch. Great little grill in downtown, perfect to meet up with friends for lunch without the bustle. Just be careful on the weekend when it’s over run with cyclists and you can’t hear yourself think over their clanking shoes. Delicious coffee and food. Be sure to sit outside if the weather is nice and say hi to Roy!

Steady Eddy’s has been a hit since it opened. The food is consistently fresh, made to order and the coffee is exceptional. If you have time for a bite, it’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee. Better yet, if you aren’t from Winters, ride your bike here and see what all the fuss is about. Sit outside and check out the Gazebo Park, or walk the creek walk tucked behind the Community Center. It’s really laid back. Secretly, I always want to go there to write, but I see people I know and get all warm, cozy and talkative!

I am updating my review. Before, I gave them 5 stars because their coffee and food are amazing! But unfortunately they dont stay stocked up well enough on certain items that are the most popular and when I call or go in, they tell me they ran out. This happens at least 3 times a month, sometimes more. Its extremely dissappointing because I dont really want to drive all the way out of town just for good coffee. Plus, its a serious downfall on the business because they’re losing money. Also if I could change or recommend anything else it would be for them to stay open longer! I don’t get off work before 3 so I miss out, and they lose more money! I still highly recommend going here if you’re in little old Winters though.

The perfect distance from the Bay Area for a lunch stop. Good menu: paninis, sandwiches, Belgian waffles, and frozen(slushy) coffee. They even cut the grapes in half for the fruit cup. The breakfast panini with bacon(on a bagel!) was lovely. Herself had one with sausage(and avocado, yetch) which she liked. The coffee slushy is a Great Idea. The staff is friendly. The layout is open, uncrowded, and quiet, although the apparently they open mic in Saturday’s. A number of locals clearly call this place home.

This is a wonderful little café. It’s my favorite place to go after I’ve gotten in a good workout, because I know they have healthy options so that I don’t feel that all my efforts have gone to waste. Honestly, the first time I went, I thought the sandwiches were priced a little high, but the taste and freshness of the ingredients makes it worth every penny! Every sandwich that I’ve tried, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed! The staff is very friendly, hospitable, and welcoming. Love this place! I’m very lucky to have it so close to home.

What a wonderful little tucked away coffee shop. Geared for cyclists(see what I did there?), this place offers great food, delicious drinks, and a warm fire to thaw out to. Worried about your bike with the latest and greatest frame that cost as much as a down payment on a reasonably priced home? Don’t be. You can lock your bike up safe and sound, right next to all the other overpriced bicycles out front where you can zealously watch it. Truthfully though, Steady Eddy’s is clutch. A reason to hit the pavement and bike hard out towards Winters.

Lots of space, delicious food and a completely relaxed atmosphere to watch folks wait hours to get into a place that was on a TV show. As you munch on your wrap along with a fruit selection that isn’t just various melon bits, you realize that you absolutely made the right choice.

I stopped here for lunch one day. It was a good sign that there were a bunch of older cyclists at the restaurant eating lunch(I’m an old guy that rides and we’re a group that enjoys good, reasonably priced food). I had a reuben sandwich and I was a little disappointed that they were apparently out of marble rye as advertised on the sandwich board But it was good. The cole slaw was made in house with bits of apple and it was tasty. All in all, a very pleasant place to have a casual lunch.

Fantastic sandwiches! Beer by the bottle, and a great menu of smoothies, coffee drinks and teas.(Looks like they even have some selection for looseleaf tea drinkers! Too bad I wanted a beer.. .) We had the Turkey bacon avocado, spinach chicken, and Southwestern special. They were all delicious, and the starving little one said it was worth the wait! Dog friendly: the whole deck is available for seating, and they even brought our dog a little treat. The folks behind the counter were super helpful, and friendly. The sandwiches took for EV er to arrive. Pricy — $ 40 + tip for three sandwiches, two beers, and a juice. Definitely a great stop on our way out of Winters. What a fun little town!

Very cute place. I love the ambiance and the food is great. My two faves are the Turkey Bacon Avocado and the Breakfast Wrap with bacon. I love eating in as the staff is pleasant and the restaurant has a very nice feel to it, makes you feel at home. My only complaint is that the food and coffee are a little overpriced. Most of the sandwiches are $ 8.79 and the wraps are $ 6.79.

Cute coffee shop. I enjoyed the space and my coffee. The oatmeal… not so much. It must have been packaged because it was pre-sweetened. I would pick a different food option next time.

Yummy Mocha Goodness SITREP We were trekking from Sacramento through Winters on our way to Lake Berryessa and the Silverado Trail to hit some wineries, but sometimes in the rush to get out the door and *zooming* to meet an early appointment in Napa Valley at 10am, we forget the essentials, LIKECOFFEE. THESETUP Well, we had already blitzed past Davis, laughing & chiding the driver about his new haircut, when we realized WEHADNOCOFFEE! *crap* And I forgot my favorite coffee traveler mug too. But as we drove down the main drag of Winters, we Unilocaled«coffee» and triangulated right away on Steady Eddy’s. [Say what you will about Unilocal, but it finds spots we need in a pinch.] IN N’ OUT No, not the burgers, but out quick entry into the establishment, grabbing our brews, and taking off. It seemed like a fairly pleasant stop with sweet rustic décor. Obviously a LOT more on the menu in a café-style fashion. But we didn’t really have time to sit & relax since we were rushing to a winery appointment where we would sit & relax THERE instead. I really enjoyed my mocha and appreciated the fact that they made it sugar free with Splenda. THELOWDOWN A great, quick, friendly coffee stop in Winters on the way to Wine Country.
