I went for the first time and they make pretty good beer. I really enjoyed the DIPA. The tap room is huge and plenty of space. I had a flight and a pint. Make sure to sign up for the VIP club.

We had a wonderful experience at Red Cyprus Brewing. I had a flight of 5 beers: the pilsner, saison, hybrid amber, pale ale, and nitro milk stout. All were delicious!

I stopped in to have a beer Saturday evening. There were three bartenders and the place was about ½ full. I had a Pilsner and took in the ambiance. That took 0.03 seconds, because the place has no ambiance. It’s a gray, square box with a painted concrete floor. There are a couple of TVs, but if you are sitting at the bar, they are behind you. There is a window behind the bar where you can watch the beer kegs just sit there. In the back corner, there is some kid’s beer can collection and a couple of signs that remind you where you are. And it is LOUD in there! There was some music playing but I couldn’t tell what it was because the crowd noise and echo was disturbing. I could only imagine how bad it would be if the place was full of drunks. When I finally got my beer, it was a mediocre Pilsner. But I ordered a pint and there was NOWAY the glass I was served held a pint. It was also $ 7. There was a small menu of meat skewers with rice or something in a paper tray. I didn’t try it. But it seemed like food was a huge over-site and the owners just picked stuff out of a hat. If the beer is the corner-stone of your business, pick food that compliments the beer. There was also a rack of chips and something behind the bar, some looked like home made popcorn balls or something. Dust gatherers. Good Luck to the owners, they will need it.

My husband and I are quite the fans of this new brewery located in Winter Springs. First of all, it’s REALLY close to our house so that makes it pretty convenient(especially when hauling around a baby). Second, the staff is pretty awesome. We love the manager, Jen. She’s super friendly and always takes care of her customers. Oh yes, and then there’s the beer. I am not a huge drinker anymore so I don’t know as much as my husband but I enjoy the brews that make on site. My favorite has been the Fruit de la Terre so far but I love how they are always coming out with new flavors to try so my favorite will always be changing as well. On valentines day they had a chocolate covered strawberry stout that was pretty yummy and rich. I enjoy the low key-ness of this place too. It has a very«local» feeling to it and makes me feel almost at home when I am there. On Thursdays they have trivia and trucks where you can create a team(or not) and do trivia for prizes and purchase some food from a local food truck(each week there is a different food truck so there is always variety). Honest point: I am not a fan of the trivia guy. I have done lots of trivia before and I think his version is a bit weird and he tends to throw out points sometimes for no reason which I think is unfair. But maybe I am just competitive? They now sell chips here so if you get hungry at the bar you have sometime to snack on. These aren’t nasty Lays potato chips. It’s local made chips and I will be trying them out on my next trip there. So happy to have this place around and I believe it will become a true gem of Winter Springs! Check out their website and all the events they have coming up :) There’s always something to look forward to whether it’s the release of a new beer, local musicians performing or yummy food trucks.

I’m not a big beer drinker, but this local brewery is great. I did like the Dark Roots beer and the gourmet chips went great together. Bartender Justin, was very friendly and informative of the different brews. Best wishes to this new establishment.

So sad I moved away and Central Florida opens another great brewery. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of beers available here and they have only been open for a little while. Most of their offerings were pretty decent. I wasn’t in the IPA mood so I tried a flight of stouts, sours, porters, and farmhouse ale. Good size tasting room with a small patio area out front. The only thing that could make it better is to have food offerings to help soak up some of that beer. A must visit place on the tour of Central Florida breweries.

Walking into the brewery I was surprised about the size of the place. I was expecting something a lot smaller. I ended up sitting at the bar and all of the owners/staff were extremely friendly. I ended up getting a flight and sampled 2 other beers they had on tap. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere, love that they have food trucks on Saturday and love the space. They even sell 32 ounce cans they put together on the spot for you. Now for the disappointment. I was expecting quality like the local bowigens, hourglass or cigar city quality that I’ve enjoyed. The honest truth is that the majority of their beers seemed a little watered down compared to the typical craft beer. I know water is probably the least expensive ingredient in the process, but most of the beers I felt like I was drinking something I could get at publix. I’m also used to craft beers having more abv, which could also be that they seem to be less watered down. At the end I did enjoy the deathroll and the robust Porter. 2 out of 7. I’ll definitely be back, but just hope they tweak their recipes a little for more quality instead of quantity. I’d pay for the more flavor craft beer

I have been wanting to check this place out since they opened, and I’m so glad I finally had an excuse to go last weekend. They are not far from me(hooray for a $ 9 Über ride) and I fell in love with their Amber at the Unilocal Gatsby party late last year. The inside itself is nothing special — a bunch of tables and chairs but no decorations. Pretty bland. The magical part of this place is the beer! I love the Amber, but I was also able to try a few others they had on tap and they were all good! Even the milk stout, which I’m not usually a fan of. I will definitely be back!

I rarely find a brewery where I enjoy almost all the beers I try but I found that here. I enjoy porters and stouts and got a flight of 5. They had a HUGE selection of their own beers and a ton of dark beers so I was happy. I tried the UCF #1, Death Roll, Robust, Spook Hill, and one more I can’t remember. I might be wrong on my names. The Death Roll was by far my favorite — it’s a sweet milk stout and was on nitro so it was super creamy. I’m looking forward to having that again. The space itself is underwhelming — it’s large but there’s no artwork or anything on the gray walls. So it’s good for crowds but there’s nothing that makes the interior stand out or to make me excited to go. I guess the beer speaks for itself in this case as it is the main draw of coming.

Another great brewery review in Orlando. I love writing these because it is so fun to know we have great beer options here and they continue to grow. They haven’t been open long and there hasn’t been a crowd any time I’ve visited. That will probably change once people know their beers are good. Very large space with plenty of seating for large groups. Lots of choices on tap. I’ve enjoyed the IPAs I’ve tried there, but I’m partial to hops. They have samplers so you can try several beers. All the beers I’ve had so far have been solid. Recommend heading up to Winter Springs to give this place a try. Oh, they don’t serve food but if you are hungry there is a good Mexican restaurant in their plaza.

Love the variety of beers here. Andrea at the bar is super well educated about beers. I learned a thing or two and found some gems. They even had beers that weren’t ready yet. I already need to come back.

This is the kind of place I want to support! Great beer, made on site, and local! The honey brown is even made with local honey. Which by the way is my favorite beer here. I like how this is such a new place that they actually listen to suggestions.

Went the other day, I think they had just opened recently, had 4 beers they had brewed themselves. All were acceptable. It’s in a location that’s really not convenient to anything except the Scottish games. Huge space nice staff.

My husband and I visited for the first time last weekend. We went in the early afternoon and were able to get two seats at the bar. The bar is quite large with a lot of table seating inside and several tables outside(along with giant Jenga). We were greeted immediately and ordered 1 of everything. So we had a flight of their house brews along with a flight of the guest taps. We have very different tastes when it comes to our top styles of brews, but both of us found our own favorite to be made from Red Cypress. The location is new and clean and service is great. We will definitely be back.

Let me start off by saying this place is a hidden gem in an urban area devoid of good beer. My wife and I stopped in a few Sundays ago to try this place, and we weren’t disappointed. Although they only had the first beer they brewed, the honey brown, on tap amongst a few guest taps, it was the best one in the lineup. This really sets the bar for me for the other brews I was told they have coming up! I was also pleasantly surprised they make their own root beer! While there, my wife and I were greeted by the manager Andrea in the spacious taproom. She and the bar staff were very friendly and gave us the story behind how this place came to be and asked us what they thought of the place and the beers on tap. The bar staff is also well versed in the different things to look for in the beers they serve(flavors, ingredients, etc), and were quite nice in answering all my dumb questions! Some notes about the brewery in general: *The place is quite big with what looks like quite some room to expand. *You can get your growler filled here as well as get what looks like a custom can of any beer on tap. *Prices are very fair *They don’t serve food, but you can bring your own! *WiFi is available Given the location and how nice this place is, I can’t wait to go back!

So I was recently contacted by Ryan at Red Cypress regarding my previous review. I was told that they would make things better if I came in again. I was in the area visitng Hourglass, so decided to stop by. Andrea, came over and talked to us again, and apologized for our prior experience. I am happy that the isssue was respolved and that I can now enjoy this new brewery :)
