This is a great treat. These snowballs are as good as in New Orleans. Very good selection of flavors to choose from. Treat yourself to this!!!

I enjoyed my first experience today at Rainbow Sno-Cones! In fact, I had a lovely chat with Bob and his wife, Karen. They are a really nice couple and are very proud of their place. They serve traditional«New Orleans style» snow balls and have a GREAT variety of flavors. I found it extremely hard to pick one… and thankfully Bob made a lot of suggestions and helped me make up my mind. I got half blue raspberry(I think??) and half Dragon’s blood. It was pretty refreshing and delicious but my one regret is that I got a small. What was I thinking?! I should have gotten a large :) Feel free to sample the flavors. I tried the butterbeer and it was AMAZING but thought it might be too sweet to have a whole cup of it. While I was eating and chatted with Bob and Karen they made me samples of some other flavors too. I got to try wedding cake and creamsicle and both were delicious. Wedding cake is definitely one of the best flavors and a classic. They mix the cream with the syrup and it’s spot on. I will definitely be back… possibly tomorrow! haha

Same guy serving up sno cones since the 80’s. Same machine too. There’s nothing better on a hot day, or even a «cold»(it’s Florida after all) day than an awesome sno cone served up with a smile. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re a fool!

Seems legit. They got an old man serving these up. Heavy on the syrup is a good thing. His wife is a looker. I might come back just for her.

There are enough reviews below that clearly state the obvious. This place is a gem, go to it. Why I like it — because it’s cheap and the portions are quite large(I’m good with just the kiddie size). Because the guy is really patient and understanding of questions. And because condensed milk on shaved ice reminds me of when I’d visit family in Colombia. Why you should go? — because if you’re over here for Donut King and they’re busy, sit back and enjoy this, OR do what we did and go to BOTH. Yes your inner diabeetus status will thank you.

Truly the gold standard for sno cones. Rainbow Sno-Cones is everything that other snow cones aspire to be. Just the right amount of syrup, evenly distributed about the cone. Pro-tip — get watermelon + sour apple. It looks like a watermelon and tastes awesome.

I’ve been going here since 2006! I love Rainbow Sno-Cones. Bob is so nice and cares about his customers. Prices are fair and he has a variety of flavors. I’m so glad he moved closer to my house! I recommend that everyone goes to the ORIGINAL Rainbow Sno-Cones instead of the knock off that sits in his old spot now!

This place reminds me of the son-cones I used to get in New Orleans as a kid. There’s a great selection of flavors and you can’t beat the price for a great treat. Bob puts on just enough syrup so that when you get down to the bottom, you’ve got that perfect consistency of ice and flavor, just like a traditional New Orleans sno-cone. The place is totally worth the trip from anywhere in Orlando. They have the best sno-cones in Florida.

I am a New Orleans native, and I love sno-balls, but as anyone who has lived here for any length of time will tell you, New Orleans style sno-balls done right are hard to come by here in Orlando. I moved here in ’96, and back then I searched for a sno-ball stand only to find they were rare if at all, and if you did happen to find a stand, their confections were less than stellar. Then came the summer of 2000, and I found Bob and Rainbow Sno-Cones(he was on Corinne Drive back then). He advertised that he made«New Orleans style» sno-balls and I’ll admit, I was skeptical. I went up to his window, ordered a Wedding Cake, and from that moment on, I was hooked! His flavor was dead on with just the right amount of syrup, and he had all the toppings that I remembered from growing up in New Orleans! Since that time I have been a regular customer of Bob’s, and now my husband and my children have joined in on the tradition! Not only are his sno-balls the best in the city, his own brand of friendly and personalized customer service is unheard of in this day and age. He remembers his customers, and he brings a homey feeling to his establishment because of it. I recommend this place to everyone I know, and now that they made the move closer to my home, we seem to be there every other day! I love the new location, and the indoor seating is a real plus on a hot day. Anyone who wants to taste the best sno-balls in the area, this is your place! They are truly a Central Florida gem!

New location opened today at Howell Branch Road. Large clean cheerful shop with indoor seating. All our favorite flavors are still available with a large selection of sizes. Still cash only, but will be taking credit cards soon. Fluffy ice snow cones make me happy!
