Orthopaedic Specialists of Central Florida

After months of dealing with a persistent case of tenosynovitis, I finally got around to looking for an orthopedic specialist. I had talked to a few friends about my wrist pain and they immediately recommended that I see Dr. Brian Leung.
The Winter Park office is located right across from the YMCA on Edinburgh Drive. The front door kind of looks like it could be a back door, so if you ever second guess yourself– you’re at the right entrance if there’s a big metal «A» on the wooden door (I accidentally came in through the back and entered the x-​ray room oops).
I had arrived 20 minutes early so that I could complete the new patient registration information not realizing that I did not have an updated health insurance card. The front desk secretary, Ale, went out of her way to find my insurance company’s number so that I could resolve my issue. I am so appreciative of how helpful she was.
I was primarily seen by the Orthopedic PA Kristen Neilson. I have to say I have never met a provider that was so approachable, friendly, and thorough as PA Kristen. She went over my X-ray’s, explained my condition, and discussed my treatment plan. She took the time to answer my questions and reassure me of any concerns. Shortly after my visit with PA Kristen, Dr. Leung and his PA student came in to say hello. I am so impressed with Dr. Leung, his PA student, and PA Kristen’s bedside manner. Dr. Leung is so incredibly kind! He took the time to ask me about my symptoms, go over my case, and discuss my treatment plan. Between Dr. Leung and PA Kristen, I feel that I have a complete understanding of my condition and treatment options. No question went unanswered. I was very satisfied with my initial visit with PA Kristen but the fact that Dr. Leung came in to say hello and examine me has made my experience with this orthopedic group an excellent one!
From door to disposition, the entire staff provided exceptional service throughout my visit. I highly recommend the specialists at Orthopaedic Specialists of Central Florida. If you ever need a hand specialist I suggest you see Dr. Leung & PA Kristen!
