Highly recommend this facility and their doctors. They are well respected and have longevity in Winter Park.

Just thought I’d add to this experience by saying when I did go for my November visit they made me sign a waiver that restricts me to arbitration if I have any issues with their medical care. Basically, they are taking away your right to sue and be heard in a court of law. No thanks! I moved out of state, but I definitely would NOT trust my medical care to a group that restricts my rights when it comes to fixing their mistakes.

So my wife and I are searching for a new OBGYN, we thought we found the right one, but their billing department is a joke. For some reason their system is showing a higher co-op payment. I spoke to my health care provider and verified the correct amount and the billing supervisor also spoke to my healthcare provider and still won’t make the adjustment. Instead they are going to bill us from what their computer tells them wait for the claim to be processed(2 – 3) weeks and if there’s and overage then they will snail me a check for the difference. Really? Why cannot you not simply override and take what the provider phone line is telling you? Seriously looking for another place …

I usually go to the Sandlake office but as a woman with 2 back-to-back pregnancies they have been great to me. I never went there for regular check-ups and prescriptions before pregnancy, but I can say that when you’re pregnant they treat you very well. I actually switched from another practice to this one because of long wait times and poor customer service at another local OBGYN office. They have an on-site lab and call you with the results. I’ve rotated through most of the practice and there hasn’t been one doctor or PA that I didn’t like or that didn’t treat me well. I did have one billing problem that was not resolved with their department, but I escalated my concern to the Billing Office Manager and she was very helpful and made an exception for me. The one thing that I wish I did know before I started there is that they have a blanket 6-week maternity leave policy. Many other practices will sign off on short-term disability benefit paperwork for 8 weeks if you have a cesarean, however, this practice will only authorize 6 weeks of medical leave, regardless of how the baby is born. Even though I missed out on 2 weeks of pay, I am still with them on my 2nd pregnancy because they have early appointments, good doctors and staff, and get you in and out of the office for most appointments.
