Golden Rabbit

The Golden Rabbit is one of those shops that you often pass by without noticing while strolling along Park Avenue but once you’ve been inside wonder how you’ve lived without this place before. This is the type of shop where you can find those unique pieces of clothing or jewelry that all of your friends compliment you on and try to mimic but can never do it quite as good as you. It’s one of those secrets you try to keep to yourself and only let certain people like your best friend know about… at least it is for me.
The jewelry found in this shop is a cross between costume and elegant, timeless pieces. You can wear it with fun, trendy fashionably forward outfits or with the more classic, elegant dresses. My favorite thing to do it wear a plain colored dress, like black, and spice it up with my jewelry. You can make an old outfit look practically brand new and revamped by simply adding a few accessories… people will never know the difference!
Jewelry aside, this quaint shop also carries a lot of accessory items as well as a few funky clothing items that are meant for women but I’m sure men are welcome if they’re adventurous enough to shop here. You won’t have to worry much about be caught wearing something that someone else has while you’re out downtown. Since this shop isn’t very big, their merchandise tends to change pretty often.
Their prices aren’t too bad, depending on what and how much you buy of course. If you don’t need anything for yourself or your taste in fashion doesn’t align with this shop, it’s also a perfect place to find fun gifts for those in your life you do enjoy this sort of stuff. I’ve never had a girlfriend turn down fun, trendy items.
Overall, I’m a fan.

Vibrantly colored jewelry adorned the shelves and walls of this little store in Winter Park. They have eclectic, elegant, and staple pieces that were fairly priced. They also had fashionable purses and fancy clutches displayed throughout. The sales people were very hands on and welcoming when I walked in. I was very impressed with the merchandise and would definitely go back. It seemed like the kind of placed you’d find a pair earrings to go with that one funky shirt in your closet – they shirt that you could never seem to find anything for.
