Best macarons in town! Georgie was so helpful in the ordering process. She answered all my questions, made really helpful suggestions and even made sure the boxes I was planning to use to package the cookies would work. Everyone loved the cookies and many went back for seconds (and some thirds). I will continue to use this bakery many more times.

The cakes and cupcakes from this bakery are beautifully and professionally crafted, but also have that delicious homemade touch — a combination that can be hard to find. I’ve had chocolate, vanilla and red velvet from Flour Life and they have all been amazing! Their frosting is always perfect too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a delicious cake for a special event (or just a special treat)!

I’ve had the privilege of tasting both cakes and brownies from this bakery, and I will certainly be hunting down more of their wonderful desserts!

There are four elements to the perfect dessert — ingredients, taste, balance, and texture (bonus points for presentation, of course), and Flour Life serves all of these in a package that can’t help but make you smile. All of the desserts were perfectly balanced, the texture and consistency were exquisite, and each and every ingredient came through without overwhelming your palate with any singular flavor (i.e. sugar). Oh, and did I mention the taste? Each bite was absolutely delicious and demanded another. What I especially love about this bakery is that there’s no gimmick or pretense, just honest, delectable treats, and in Orlando, especially, that’s something truly special.

Though I didnt have the pleasure of going there, my office’s Easter Bunny bought me a carrot cake cupcake from Flour Life. As a bit (ok, a huge) cupcake snob, I was skeptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I took the first bite.
The cake was light and spongey. The carrots were perfectly grated, which is important because it was a small cupcake, so too thick, would have disturbed the consistency, and too fine would have made it too texturally homogenous.
The icing… a rich texture, smooth, light, and sweet, without being cloying.
If this morsel of goodness was representative of the rest of their goods, this bakery will certainly have longevity in these parts.
