First Watch is alright. Not great in my opinion, but alright. They do a decent breakfast and I guess in the end I have more of a problem with the service than the food. The waitresses can be a little rude sometimes and then there was the pancake fiasco(I’ll spare you). Anyways, I’m sure I’ll keep coming back when I’m with friends that want to go but I doubt I’ll be making any solo trips here.

It had been over a year since we last ate there so we were pleasantly surprised with their updated menu. It says the focus is on local fresh products. For non mammal waters happy there are poultry alternatives for sausages. Can’t beat the market skillet for a well balanced breakfast meal. Looking forward to their biscuits and gravy with turkey sausage. Got turned on to the avocado mash and now make my own for breakfast. Loved the whole grain bread

A solid and reasonably priced brunch place in Winter Park. After finishing our move into our new house, my wife and I decided to take our friends to brunch to say thank you for helping. While my wife and I hadn’t had the best experience with other First Watch venues in the past, we figured we would give this one a try since it was open early and right next door. Boy am I glad we did. Located in the Aloma Shopping Plaza near the Aloma movie theater, First Watch is a nice little breakfast restaurant with lots of outside seating. Since they are part of the shopping plaza, finding parking wasn’t an issue. Once we arrived, we grabbed a seat and the host brought out some water and coffee for everyone, as well as a doggie bowl for the pup. He did all of this despite the fact that he wasn’t going to be our waiter! That is some good service right there. After a few minutes, our waiter did come out and start taking our order. I decided to order the Elevated Egg Sandwich, one of the highlighted items on their menu. Everyone else placed their order and we proceeded to chat while waiting for our food. The atmosphere was rather friendly(everyone wanted to stop and pet our dog) and the waiter and host often came to refill drinks and crack jokes. After a reasonable amount of time, our food came out and we all dug in. My elevated egg sandwich, which came with bacon and made for a fun take on breakfast, was great. The potatoes that came on the side were well cooked and seasoned properly. Everyone else at the table generally seemed to like their food, so I was happy to have a good experience and eat some great food. Overall, this First Watch location is a solid early opening breakfast/brunch spot with great service and good food. While there are better brunch spots in the area, this is a great place to come if those spots aren’t yet open and/or you are looking for a solid breakfast/brunch for a good price.

Still come here 2 – 3 times a month. I haven’t had the farmhouse hash in a while. It’s one of my favorites, or was. They have changed the recipe using larger potatoes which I don’t care for. And the flavor seemed different. Won’t be ordering anymore. Fortunately I have many more favorites to choose from and the service is always great. Wished they would carry the chicken/apple sausage year round, not just Fall.

I went to first watch for the first time today, and I’ll definitely be back. The avocado toast is better than some of the other places I’ve been to in winter park, lots of lemon and tons of avocado, I wanted to go back again for lunch! Good place for groups and for business breakfast.

I’ve been to at least 4 First Watches and I have to say that this one is by far the BEST one I’ve been too. When My wife and I walked up this young man name Edwin literally opened the door and sang«Good Morning» to us which was so funny and it really set the mood for our experience. Our server Tess immediately took us to our table and was just fabulous. She was quick, efficient, and made us feel like we were the only table there. The thing I liked the most was that when I asked for something they didn’t make anymore(the original farmhouse) they said yes without even thinking twice about it. My wife ordered the Avocado Toast for the first time and she was in love with it. All in all great experience and will definitely go out of our way to come here because this one is the standard.

I’m pretty disappointed with this experience. We were told there would be a 10 – 15 minute wait, this turned into about 25 minutes. Not a huge deal, that happens sometimes. Once inside, we were sat and our GREAT server Erica took good care of us. However, the kitchen was painfully slow, it literally took 45 minutes for us to get our food. And once it was served, the food was lukewarm at best. Really unfortunate, we have been to a different First Watch near UCF, and always had great experiences. Too bad it didn’t hold true for this location.

My wife and I visited New Year’s morning and were surprised by how quickly we were seated. Our server was friendly and answered our questions about the menus and got our drinks in a timely manner. I ordered the french toast with real maple syrup and my wife ordered the Acapulco Express. While I found the french toast to be exactly as I expected(tasty, thick slices of sourdough bread), my wife found the omelette a touch too spicy for her taste. I enjoyed the chorizo but it was a touch on the spicy side. My wife ordered one of their fresh juice bar drinks, the Kale Tonic, which as you can expect was green and on the tarter side. I just got pineapple juice. The restaurant is casual and during normal hours will be on the noisier side. There is free wifi which is a bonus. Overall the service was good and the food was better.

It remains delicious here. The chickichanga is one of my favorites; it is a chimichanga with chicken and a really tasty sauce. The pancakes are also fantastic. This is a good location that is usually pretty quiet in the mornings. We’ll keep on visiting because it’s so good.

Although I was in kind of a hurry and the waitress probably picked up on it, which is why she kinda left me alone. The food was good. Several healthy choices. Would def return…

Very tasty and fresh! They have some great healthy choices and some not so healthy! I eat here every time I’m in Florida. Today I had the crab cake Benedict which was yummy but weirdly paired with a salad. I’ve had their avocado toast which was good but overly salty. I like that they give you a canister of coffee when you order coffee. And that they have a coffee station near the front as well.

Great fresh food, I just wish it didn’t close so early. So many times I wanted to eat a late lunch and they were closed. But other than that it is clean, has friendly staff, and has fresh, yummy food.

Nice sandwiches that are very tasty. Not very big, but they’re just trying to keep everyone fit! Healthy food and healthy portions.

Food was okay. Some of the veggies in my omelet were browning. I don’t really see what the big deal is about this place.

I’ll make this review short and to the point. I’m basing this review on the past 10 times I’ve been here. My only complaint is that they close at 2:30pm which is a franchise rule. I’d eat here for dinner if I could! The food is great! The atmosphere is more up to date and the cleanliness of this location is 5 out of 5. The staff at this location is very helpful and work as a team. This location has the best service out of any of the locations I’ve been to. I’ve started eating here at least once per week due to the taste and quality of the food, and attentiveness of the wait staff. They make it easy and fun like it should be! As for the menu, they have a lot of healthy options in terms of breakfast items, salads, and sandwiches. Their pancakes are amazing too! Some of the best I’ve had. I would suggest the blueberry pancakes and they are very large. I’m not a big potato fan but if you get there potatoes cooked«crispy» they are very tasty. Their bacon, multi grain toast, and omelets also taste great! I get the fruit cup without any melon and it’s always very fresh and delicious. I also suggest their cholesterol free eggs which taste as good as normal eggs, but much healthier! If you’re into lunch, the turkey sandwich with cobb salad is on point! They also have a few healthy wraps I’ve tried that were great too! If you like First Watch food, but haven’t liked the other locations, give this one a try. I’ll be back in a couple of days. Keep up the great work!

Yay for a new location! My boyfriend and I stumbled on this one while on the search for pancakes we didn’t need to wait 2 hours to get, on a Sunday. The service was great and our breakfast’s were delightful. We will be back.

Love love love First Watch and this location! Such nice staff, quick and delicious breakfast and my daughter loves coming here! I nearly always have the siesta key cocktail with the seasonal muffin. I have tried a good number of the muffins and never been displeased. What I love most about this dish and this place is that when you get the fruit it’s not a big late of melon. It’s like an actual nice assortment of fruits: grapes pineapple, strawberries and melon. Most places you order fruit and you get one strawberry two pieces of pineapple and a whole lotta’ melon! The bottomless coffee is a nice perk too, I really have nothing bad to say and will continued to recommend and visit this place!

First Watch is usually a safe breakfast locale. We were readily seated with our large group. Servers did an excellent job taking care of our group. I love that they leave the pot of coffee on the table so you don’t have to wait for a refill. I also LOVED that they had pumpkin creamer available in single serving containers. I didn’t even know they sold them that way! I ordered the Key West Crêpe which seemed overcooked. The edges were a little extra crispy/charred but the flavor was good. The shrimp were a good size and it came with sour cream and pico. I just had to try a pumpkin pancake too(’tis the season!) but it was HUGE… As large as the plate. It was well cooked but could have used more pumpkin flavoring. At the end of the meal the servers handed out individual tabs which were all correct. Solid experience but not mind blowing. First Watch, the safe breakfast option.

I was so surprised when my husband & I stopped here after our 5k! We wanted something super healthy but also fairly priced, which usually are hard to find and don’t come hand in hand very often. This place was busy but was able to seat us quickly and the wait staff were very friendly. The menu is packed with super healthy options that you don’t find everywhere! They even had quinoa on the menu, which my husband and I eat on a regular basis but have NEVER seen it as a menu item. The environment seemed fresh and inviting. Very simple yet modern. The prices were SO reasonable! I was VERY pleased that we were able to be seated in a timely manner, served with pleasant attitudes and didn’t even have to break the bank! Definitely recommend this place!
