One of our favorite playgrounds! Things we love about this playground: — It’s fenced! — It has an expression swing! — Slides for different age groups. — Bucket seat swings(3) — Benches so you don’t sit on the ground — A Shade for parties and gatherings — Perfect area to view a live train go by Ok things about the park: — The fall area is mulch. We prefer rubber but due to the size we get it. — Parking is nuts on the weekend

This review is only for the playground, but I’ll update as soon as I have more info on the recreation center it is attached to. I love that a lot of the equipment is built out of wood, which keeps the playground cooler during the summer. A couple of the slides are metal(ouch!) but there are two plastic ones as well, one for the big kids and one for toddlers. There are two wooden bouncy bridges and a pretty cool little«zip line» for bigger kids, that looks like fun. There are large shade trees and benches for relaxing while the kids play, and even a pavilion that can be rented for birthday parties, etc. According to their website, it’s $ 50/day or $ 30/half day. It’s on the smaller side, with just one picnic table, so I wouldn’t consider it for larger parties, but it’s shaded. There’s another table that is not shaded if you just needed a place to have lunch or a snack without actually renting the pavilion. I also like that since this park is next to the train tracks, there is a little toy train play set to climb on, and the kids can watch as the train goes by while they play. My son loved that. A downside for me, was that the bucket swings were in full sun when we were here so we couldn’t enjoy them for too long. There’s a lot to do packed into this small park, so we will definitely be back!
