McDonald’s

I hate reading reviews from other people of fast food locations because they’re all the same and usually over the stupidest things (I SAID NO PICKLES!); but I’ll be god damned if this isn’t the worst McDonald’s in Polk County.
It’s been open long enough for kinks to be worked out, but it only seems like it gets worse every time I go.
First, it’s in the stupidest location. It has two entrances but only one «legal» exit having to ONLY turn right onto Spirit Lake at the rear entry. To leave «legally» you have to drive the entirety of the property to exit on to 540/​Winter Lake Rd. That means if you’re fortunate to get around the 10 minute drive through lines to GET to 540. Barring that; after spending 10 – 20 minutes with my car running in the freaking Flawduh heat and not wanting to battle other people in the drive through lane to fight into 540 I take my chances turning left at the back entrance. You owe me for that tip. Just do it. There’s no reason for that sign to be there.
Second, The drive through timing is absolutely atrocious. This location should be embarrassed for how long their lines get and how long it takes people to even get to the window to pay for their food. When I want to «brave» the drive through line because I was too stupid to remember how shitty this McD’s is for their drive thru, I’m welcomed to 10 minutes in line, and 5 or more minutes before that waiting for the dingbat taking orders to remember this drive thru has 2 lanes. 15 minutes in a drive thru? Embarrassing. The management should be ashamed of themselves. I’m quite fortunate I dont work for a company that nitpicks my timing; but who says they are totally fine with being late because they wasted time in a drive thru line that isnt moving and they were ignored for 5 cars to pass in the other lane while waiting at the spot they order?
Third, The lobby has no one in it in the morning. No one. Not a single person. The drive through doesnt so much as budge from when I pull in, work my way around it and park, walk in and make my order.
Which I make twice by the way. Every time I go in (even during lunch!); I repeat my order. Maybe because everyone that’s worked the registers there has hearing problems? or maybe they just dont start looking for the buttons to push for «sausage egg and cheese biscuit, 2 hashbrowns, and a chicken biscuit.» or «Big mac meal» or «Large #1». I dont know. I dont order anything incredibly complicated to figure out. Sure, inside is all neat and clean and McUpdated with their fru fru moving TV screens that get rid of the menu while you’re looking at it; but that’s at the bottom of the list of anyone’s needs when they’re ordering something to eat and they only have a short amount of time to eat it.
This McDonald’s has been open long enough to get it’s shit together. It can and probably will get progressively worse and nothing will be done about it. It’ll just keep on moving along in the machine of capitalism making profits because it’s still a McDonald’s; even though it’s a shit hole.
Management and even the Franchise owners should absolutely be embarrassed and ashamed at how piss poorly it’s ran.
