Mac’s Meat Market

This is def a meat store, on the very small side. It does sell bulk meats. There is some variety and good pricing if you know your meats .A lot of product is frozen. (like gator, tripe) Has similar products to Felton’s in Plant City but much much smaller scale. Small fruit & veg section. Quarter watermelons for 99c. Very basic market.

This is not a full service butcher, but it is indeed a meat market and the closest thing to a full service butcher in Winter Haven area. You can find most any kind of meat here, but goat, lamb, rabbit, duck will be frozen in the case. Everything was previously frozen. They advertise «Heavy Western Beef». They carry mostly select. No choice. This is not the place to go to if you want good steaks (if you understand what a good steak is). It is just the market they serve. However, for my typical needs (brisket, ribs, pork shoulder), they have very good brands (I am usually looking for IBP) at very very good prices. When I need or want higher quality in brisket, or for steaks, I gotta go elsewhere. They carry a good assortment of spices related to meat dishes, and a good selection of produce, but it is average quality veggies. The staff are very helpful and I enjoy shopping here. It is just not the place for steaks.
