Hurricane Grill & Wings

Cute little bar/​restaurant, ordered the wings, out of 20 wings, 7 of them were undercooked, so I guess we ordered 13 for 3 of us to share. Waitress shrugged it off. When we got home, maybe 25 minutes later, we were all sick in the bathroom! What the heck! More uncooked chicken???

My friend and I ate there twice in the last week. Wonderful, great food. Tea is made fresh. The service was fast and courteous. We will be going back with friends. Last waitress was named Jenifer and she was so sweet to us both. The beer batter haddock was so good. Loved it.

Went here today ordered the chicken tacos and my wife ordered the mahi tacos they were horrible bland no seasoning whatsoever, ended up paying $ 43 for food we didn’t even eat.

I love to focus on the positive, so that is what I will do. I really enjoy wings and these were good wings. We tried5kinds and only one was not amazing, the rest were. We also tried the garlic parm fries. These were good, but seems pricey for what you get. The lackluster part of the visit was the service. They were busy and seemingly understaffed. Our order was taken in a timely fashion. And food and drinks reasonably timed. No refills on drinks, and the attitude of the server seemed like we were more of a hassle than a benefit. I’m the most easy going patron ever. But this girl looks like she never smiles.
Overall, I will go back, but probably for takeout wings only.

I’d come here again — service was good, wings were decent, atmosphere seemed fun. I wish we had one of these in Lakeland…

I don’t know what it’s like inside we did takeout twice, but the food was really good. I had a fajita bowl both times and my husband had wings both times and absolutely no complaints.

Tried to like this place, but it was a mess. My order was brought out last and when the people
I was with were nearly done eating. The sign of a stand up place is acknowledging mistakes and correcting it before the customers has time to think about the wrong doing. Not only did my server not offer to take off my order, there was no apology and nothing done to make good. She had a tattoo that said hakuna matata, clearly the sign that she is lackadaisical in life.

We stopped in here after a baseball tournament. Our server, Jennifer, was great! The food was pretty good for a sports bar. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Great selection on the menu.

This place was pretty awful. Ordered the nachos and they weren’t even edible. Just soaked with sauce and the chicken was not seasoned at all. Tasted like maybe it was out of a can, probably not, but tasted like it. The drinks were alright but super sweet. The wings were cooked fine but couldn’t tell the difference between a couple of the sauces that should have tasted way different. The service the good but won’t be going back which is disappointing since I love wings and live so close.

I’ve eaten here a few times. I normally get take out wings and nachos. The wings are tasty!
It’s convenient to get to when I come to town to visit so it makes for an easy meal!
I’ll eat here again no issues and everyone I’ve encountered are nice and pleasant.

Short and sweet…- This was our first time there. Kennedy was our server, and she was fantastic… The wings were some of the best that we have had in a LONG time… perfectly crispy, but not overcooked… we will definitely be back…

Why 2 stars? Because the server (I think her name was shana or shaunna) was good. That’s where it ended.
We got nachos and wings. The nachos were greasy and soggy. They didnt even look appitizing. We got chicken on them, but it had no flavor or seasoning. The wings were cooked well. We got cyclone and raspberry sauces. The sauces didn’t have much flavor or spice to them. I almost think it’d be better to get the wings plain.
Drinks were too sweet for my taste. I have had a lot of mojitos before and this one was way sweeter.
The food took a lot longer to come out than it should’ve, not the fault of the waitress, even she was confused.
Won’t be back.

We stopped by this location after a long, hot day at Legoland. Both hubby and I just wanted a nice cold beer. We were greeted and seated quickly. After not being able to find a beer list I asked the server if one existed. She directed me to the stand up menu on the table which, I showed her, had nothing but the one special beer listed. She then said they had a very good beer selection so I asked for four different beers but she said she’d never heard of any of them. She went to bring back the beer «expert» and this lady knew all the beers I asked for and said they had none of them, and in fact the place had a lousy beer selection. So I went with a Yuengling draft, hubby went with Fat Tire. Finally the long awaited beer arrived and hub’s glass had lip stick on it! GROSS! Our poor server muttered how things weren’t going well as she scooped his drink away. Make you wonder how clean any of the glasses were?!?
We stayed and ordered side salads and wings to go with our beer. The food was absolutely average (3 star). The garlic parm fries app, however, are delicious so make sure to get those. The manager did come by and ask how things were going and we told him about the lipstick. He didn’t seemed too concerned or apologize but asked, «Did they take care of it for you?» To which hubby replied, «Well, they replaced the glass» and the manager just walked off. When the bill came they didn’t even comp the beer! Pretty pathetic experience. 2 stars only because the server was trying and the fries were good. We won’t be back.

Extremely friendly servers! And a really full menu. Food is amazingly prepared too! Draft beer list isn’t vast but they come out in the coldest glasses you’ve ever had which makes the beer they do have on draft so much better.

Came here for the Father’s Day free entreé and it was average, not the kind of food you’ll remember. I had the Beachside Chicken with sweet potato fries and garlic Brocolli. The wings were about a 4 and the sauces were also good. Don’t even try the rice, it’s nasty… Other than that if your a wings and drinks person you can come, but only for that…

Great hot wings. Fresh out of the fryer. Huge variety of sauces available for the wings. Other diners with me had firecracker chicken and shrimp and slaw sliders. Good service, good food.

I ordered the Mahi Tacos and garlic parm fries. The tacos came out without cheese, just lettuce, a couple pieces of diced tomato and sauce. I waited a couple minutes to ask our server for some, but I was starving so I began to eat. The fish was cold. The fries tasted good, but were soggy. My husband’s beer battered fish was overcooked. We couldn’t get our server’s attention and she didn’t return until my husband and son had both completely finished their meals, even though she visited every table around us. In fact that was the first time she came to our table since ordering, as another server delivered our meals. I decided to just take the check at that point.

First time here, pleasantly surprised. Great device. I had the beer battered fish sand witch with fries. Flaky and delicious, the size was very generous. The fries were also good. I will be back and you should try it if you haven’t.

We came here to escape the theme park food of Legoland for a late lunch. Ug it’s like they hired the exec chef at Legoland to create their menu. The food was overly salted, fried or soaked in grease. Felt like it was a former subway gone tropical atmosphere.
