Friends of the Library Book Store

I love to read and I love a bargain, this little bookstore inside the Winter Haven library pavilion satisfies both of those things. There are not too many places in 2015 where you can buy 4 paperbacks for $ 1 and that offer 2/​$ 1 and 2/​$ 2 on selected hardback books.
This bookstore is small, but, it is crammed with lots of books at unbelievable bargains, they do carry some newer books and some collectible books at a bit of a premium over the ones listed above but, most people who read a lot like me should be able to find something they like at an affordable price.
If you come to this bookstore bring cash, they don’t accept credit cards, also, be patient and make sure you count your change, as the ladies/​gentlemen who volunteer to run the shop are seasoned citizens and a few times they have gotten my change incorrect (in my favor) and I had to let them know.
The shop is located in a bike/​walker friendly area with parking available for vehicles at the library, on the street, a parking lot across the street, and a block down there is a free parking garage. There is also a coffee shop located next door and of course the Winter Haven public library is right across the hall.
