Best pizza there is around, by a long shot. Awesome owners and authentic atmosphere, it reminds of being in the big apple but better pizza lol. 2 thumbs wayyyyy up. Can’t beat the pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom. 5 stars for sure.

Amazing food and great prices. Will definitely come back next Legoland trip. Authentic ingredients made fresh.

Came back again on April 1^st my husband had 9″ pepperoni pizza and I tried the gnocchi with meat sauce plus garlic knots yum. Love the food.

Pizza is decent, thin chewy crust floating in grease but after an order got mixed up and we asked them to make it right, two members of the staff suggested we take our business elsewhere. All because we asked them to fix their error in the order.
This was for a team luncheon at our company, a large employer in the area. At this point all 15 members of the team are concerned about how one of our own was treated and the business we were going to bring to DiMaggio’s next week will be sent elsewhere.
Sal, the owner, and the reddish blonde female must have had a bad day. But they will never have us to take it out on again.
They recommended we take our business to Giovanni’s New York Pizza. Suggest y’all do the same.

Ok we’re not locals and I never write reviews but I downloaded the Unilocal app just to review these guys! Looking for a nice little Italian place to eat after Legoland? This is the place!!! Everything was frigging good. We tried spaghetti, chicken fettuccini with penne pasta and their crispy pizza! Not to mention the service was outstanding! If I could give this place more stars I would!!! This is better than that other food chain by far!!! 10 thumbs up!

Can’t go wrong here. Great value for lunch.

Best Italian in Winter Haven.

This place is the best in central Florida. I went there the other day with my kids and grandchildren we had antipasto with the best Italian dressing, I had the eggplant parmesan it was so stuffed with breaded eggplant no skin it was like opening a deck of cards, my grandchildren had the kids spaghetti and meatball you could of feed a big guy with all they got, my soninlaw order the large calzone thinking he could handle it and only ate one quarter of it, we also order a small pizza with ricotta and didn’t touch it because my eyes was bigger than my stomach but ate it later it was great. Well we ended up taking home half my eggplant and lots of leftovers but we all know Italian food is great leftover. Please go there because everytime my family’s down from NY I go get takeout and they have never been disappointed.

I have eaten here multiple times with my girlfriend who introduced me to this restaurant. Wonderful staff and the best pizzas ever made in the history of the pizza. If heaven had pizzas they would smell, look, and taste like the godly works of extraordinary beauty and pure absolute deliciousness that are these pizzas or as they call them pies. I’m from the south and prefer to call them pizzas.

After a day at LegoLand, this quiet place was what we needed. Prices are reasonable, kids pizza is huge (6 slices), antipasto salad had huge chunks of meat and plenty of vegetables, and the waitress was good about drink refills. They also serve beer & wine. But the crust was tough, almost impossible to cut into pieces for the kids, a couple chicken pieces were rubbery. and there was way too much semi-​ok barbecue sauce on the BBQ chicken piece. It’s okay if you want a quiet place but not great.

I was with a friend and her kids. Her youngest wanted Pizza. We looked at Unilocal for reviews. We gave it a shot. Boy am I glad we came here. The food is delicious. The portions are more than average. I went with the chicken parmigian dinner entrée, which mean it came with a salad and side of spaghetti w/​sauce. I fell in love with the sauce. They must use that Italian brand of cheese that is lactose free. I’m lactose intolerant and I had no problems afterwards.
My friend’s daughter had a meatball parmigian. Big portion. She shared the other half with her mom. They both were full. My friend also had the calamari. She had to doggie bag it because she was full after eating the half of the meatball parmigian. My friend youngest son had the kids 9′ pepperoni pizza. He almost ate the whole pie. But since I had not tried Florida pizza (I’m from NYC). The pizza was pretty good. The sauce is what really one me over.
I’m assuming someone in this pizza place is from NY/​LI, they have photos of Yankees and Joe Dimaggio. And they represent NY Jets.
I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Winter Haven.

This is the place for the best pizza, crispy crust, fresh toppings all across the top, with a antipasta salad, glass of wine… the best in the neighborhood. The service is good and the staff is always friendly.

Excellent!!! We stopped after we closed down Legoland — found the biz on Unilocal and although it had only a few reviews, they were all stellar so we decided to stop on the way home. Excellent decision! I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes open right now but I wanted to make sure I gave them another great review since we had such a fantastic experience! Our Pizzas were AWESOME! Perfect crust, not too thick, not too thin — just right. Excellent distribution of toppings, great balance of flavors. The staff was AWESOME! Very friendly and way more upbeat and cordial than I would have been to greet a party of four that came strolling in less than an hour before closing. The venue is very cute and clean and cozy and the prices are very reasonable. Great food, high quality ingredients, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere — if you’re in the area and hungry, I highly recommend!

Food was pretty good, but my husband and i both got a salad and there was nothing in it but lettuce. Service was good.

Great pizza place!!! Ordered over the phone after leaving legoland and was received by the very friendly staff. The food came out in perfect time and it was delicious, my kids were very very happy and kept saying this is the best pizza they have ever had.

I wasn’t a big fan of this place. The service was good, the food not so much. Started with the caprese salad, it was fine but didn’t have a ton of flavor. Then we had a pizza and it wasn’t very good. It was very greasy and soggy, and just didn’t taste very good. I think maybe the dough was a little under done as well. Didn’t go for dessert.

I love Dimaggio’s! It’s my favorite local restaurant, and I order a calzone every week. When we go to sit down and eat, we always have excellent service. Sofia and Sal make my son feel like a celebrity, and he loves their pizza so much it’s never hard to get him to eat. (He’s 3, so that’s a huge deal to me!)
Ed is very friendly and clearly an awesome chef. Everyone there makes us feel welcome. I’ve never been somewhere with such awesome staff and ownership.
Their food is top notch and prices are great. I could not recommend them highly enough. If you haven’t eaten at Dimaggio’s, you are missing out!

My wife and I moved recently and longed to find a «that place» for us again. Somewhere that knows how to make calzones the right way. A place that doesn’t frown on you for bringing a toddler. A restaurant that’s food doesn’t all taste like it was in deep-​freeze when you walked in the door. DiMaggio’s is our new place, two or three times a month. The family and staff treat us like friends and not just revenue. Sal and Sofia know so many patrons by name you know they are paying attention to what they should be.

When i am in town, i usually go here for the spaghetti and meat balls, even when i was living in Winter Haven, at the time, i would almost always go here, for my post work out. The food was great, price was humble, and the portions were large, You typically get two huge meat balls, and a salad, Very Satisfying meal for not alot of cash. So if you like, Pasta, at a good scratch that at a great price, Then come here you will love it.

Took a group of 12 or so on a Wednesday night. Everyone ordered their own thing. I enjoyed our pizza, and I heard a lot of other saying good things about their food as well. Service was excellent. I will be going back again.

I’m so glad they opened a bigger restaurant with indoor dinning. The food is delicious love the pizza, garlic knots & chicken parmigiana. The service is great ! Come and get some. Lunch specials good and priced right.
