Dental Associates Of Winter Haven

It’s unfortunate I have to give them 1 star and have decided to move on to a new dentist. Dr. Wang and his dental staff are great, but their billing and reception areas are another story. They want payment before being seen even with insurance, well that would be fine if they could ever get the amount correct and they have no desire to correct their sheet that gives them the amounts (corporate does that, we have no control) which means it’s not going to happen. I was constantly being overcharged since they don’t have an updated sheet of what my insurance pays and getting your money back takes at least 20 days. The receptionist that greets you as you arrive is rude and has no idea how to deal with people in that setting. She was combative and snippy because I asked her what this charge was that she wanted me to pay before I could be seen. Her response, you can’t come here without being charged.

I recently moved to Winter Haven and searching for a new dentist. I came upon Steven Wang and read according to my insurance’s review that he was very caring nd compassionate. I went for my visit and met him. He made me feel very comfortable. I just had a lot of work done and I couldn’t ask for a better dentist. He made sure I understood what he was doing and to tell him if I was in any pain. I would recommend him highly!
