It’s December 8th and well, tis the season to look for extra cash. I’ve had some aluminum extrusion and brass burners from a grill lying around for a project that just never got started. That great idea was born over three years ago, so if it hasn’t started by now, it’s a dead idea today. Brewing structure that never was to be I reckon:( SO– I took all this needless garage«fodder» of now useless metal to the scrap yard! I must confess, this was a nice experience; for a scrap yard task really. These guys have a drive through service that has got to be the best idea for compensated, premature, Spring cleaning! Drive in– unload on their scale, and go to the pay window for the bucks — all inside their warehouse. I was pretty happy too with the return I got for my haul too. The only slightly bazar part was I was paid in $ 50 -$ 10 — $ 2 and $ 1 coin! Now, its been a year or more since I had to deal with one dollar coin and I damn sure can’t recall the last time I got a two dollar bill! back as change! Hey — I can’t wait to spend em! Clean up and get paid for it! Looks like they will take it all if you have redeemable recyclables and haul it in.
