Would be 0 stars if there were an option. We are new to the area and were referred to All About Kids by a friend. One of our children is sick and when we tried to get in to see one of the doctors, the receptionist said we couldn’t be seen until 3 days later since we were new, even with our forms already filled out. Since our kid is sick now, we called back and were told that we could be seen but must go to another location. Although we were happy with this, the receptionist was quite rude letting us bring our sick child in for a check up. After driving 30 mins for the appointment, we were turned away because they said my insurance was not up to date. I had already spent an hour on the phone with my insurance company fixing the issue and who reached out to the office to tell them the issue has been resolved(current address in system since we just moved) and there is no problem to cover the visit. They still would not see us and completely just lost out on two new customers. We were able to call another Pediatrician in the area who were happy for our business and could see us right away. Although the doctors at this pediatrician may be good, we didn’t even have a chance to see them. Would not recommend the company to anyone based on how they treat possible customers alone. We just moved here and I was nervous about a new doctors office. We were welcomed and got taken back quickly. The staff was very caring and took their time with my son. They made sure to ask lots of questions and listened to my answers. I really appreciated how they treated both my son and I.

Beyond odd and bad business practices. My daughter age 6 had an insect bite that was looking bad, so I brought her and my 3 year old son by to have it looked at. Their location is closer to my home than her regular pediatric group, so we had considered switching for both kids. The waiting room is about 80 degrees, turn on the AC… So, they ask us to wait a few minutes — then tell us that since we don’t have an appointment we would have to come back tomorrow. It was only 3pm. I said never mind, we will make the drive to her regular pediatric practice. 10 min evaluation could have scored 2 new patients… Obviously the front desk could use some remedial business courses.
