I’ve been to Sears Auto across the county and I have to say, I get a good level of service, although some places are better than others. This place is one of the good ones! Work is satisfactory to really good. The time estimate is always correct — if I make an appointment, sometimes they’re done earlier than they said. The employees are friendly and not condescending, which I appreciate. They’re also affordable and good about advertising their coupons — last time I brought my car in, they told me they were running a 10% special, no coupon or internet searching necessary.
I will say, it helps to have a good working knowledge of your car — I try to ask specific question, like «what type of coolant do you use» — though I think that’s true of most mechanics. I enjoy taking my car here, which I can’t say for every car repair shop that I use.
