I have no complaints about the workers, they worked hard. And the salesman gave me a good quote. But what I didn’t realize this morning was that they had started digging *without* verifying the location of the gas line (which their contract stipulates they will do). In fact, had they not been rained out, they had planned on starting the day before. I wouldn’t have found out about this oversight had the utility guy not shown up and marked them and pointed out to me that one of the posts is sitting either right over or right next to my gas line. Apparently, this is no big deal to Piedmont — they aren’t even sending anyone to check it until tomorrow when they move the post 3 feet back. Frankly, I would have done better (and a lot cheaper) to have bought the material myself, asked the utility to mark the lines, and hired someone off of craigslist. I’ve never regretted spending $ 2000 more in my entire life.

They gave us the best deal for our black, 600 linear ft. chain link fence and booked us two weeks out. We dealt with a salesperson, someone who did financing (I think also in sales) and the two men who actually put the fence up. They were all very pleasant, knowledgable and courteous.
The men who put up the fence even worked a little in the rain, and the job was done in 2 days!
