Staff was nice and helpful. However, I had 5 prenatal appointments scheduled over the course of 5 months. 4 of those appointments were rescheduled by WomanCare at the last minute, with no explanation given other than «the doctor is no longer available then.» Very disappointed and very inconvenient when both my husband and I planned our work schedules around those appointments. Switched to Hawthorne OBGYN and am happy there.

In the Winston-​Salem area, it doesn’t get better than Womancare. The staff provides excellent customer service. The nurses are knowledgeable and friendly. The best part, though, is the healthcare providers. The physicians and nurse practitioners at Womancare are a cut above. I HIGHLY recommend them. I have my favorites in the practice (not supposed to mention specific names, so I’ll refrain), but truly, you won’t go wrong with any of them.
They do their best to fit you in the same day if you have an urgent medical need. After hours nurse is available and provides the typical after-​hours nurse service. One of the delightful little perks that I most appreciate: free childcare! That’s right, they offer free childcare every morning from 8am to noon, so you don’t have to take your three-​year-​old into the exam room with you. Woohoo! No toddlers witnessing your bare hoohah!
