I’m a Havertys veteran now for sure– know the facts now. We’ve bought furniture from them before; a Temperpedic mattress too. Everything had always been in stock/so here’s the catch. So on July 282013 we ordered a sofa, chair and ottoman, another chair, 2 end tables an a cocktail table. Salesman says sofa and chairs are custom order, be about 4 to 6 weeks, we said ok. We picked out custom cloth for all, that was fine. Salesman said cocktail table and end tables were in stock at warehouse in Ga. And there were plenty of them. Well they call whenever a piece comes in and ask if you want it delivered and we tell them to hold it til everything is in so we can enjoy a total new transformation. We’ll I thought I never would receive my cocktail table and went to the store, asked for manager and(He Says if you don’t take delivery when they call they“ll sell it out from under you and by god they did!) I had to wait for the factory in Arkansas to build and ship one. So October 302013 we took delivery of the final piece. Salesman NEVER told me of this fine print. I took 3 appointments with the delivery drivers. If we had known and sent the truck every time something came in we would have received everything sooner with A lot of delivery appointments. It’s very doubtful if we go there again. Hope this heads up helps someone…

Haverty’s is the type of furniture store that stocks almost everything… From dining to bedroom and living room to office furniture, they have almost everything one could need. Upon entering the store you will be greeted by the sales staff and directed to the section of the store that houses the products you are looking for. The sales staff here are super nice & helpful and will stay with you if you need them to or allow you to browse the store on your own and ask for their assistance later if you find a piece you have questions on. If your style is traditional or contemporary I think you can find items to suite your taste at Haverty’s. The company has been in business for years and is still«family owned.» I have purchased things here on several different occasions, some custom and some standard pieces and the only thing I can say I don’t like is the wait on the custom pieces. Procurement is usually 8 – 10 weeks depending on how custom you take the piece… All in all it probably isn’t that bad when you think about it; I think most people have the«want it yesterday» syndrome when they start the furniture purchase escapade. Go over to Executive Park and try Haverty’s. Everything comes with a guarantee so if you purchase something and decide you don’t like it in your home you can always have it picked back up and something else sent back out. Oh, and have some time sit aside… You can literally spend hours in this double level showroom.
