Festival Stage of Winston-Salem

To date, Festival Stage have produced six shows in the Hanesbrands Theatre. They have all been excellent. To my mind, Festival Stage is the première theatre in the Triad today. They deserve a bigger audience and with seats beginning at $ 10, you should definitely check them out.

Our family first experienced Festival Stage when we went to see The Glass Menagerie in the spring of 2011. The acting as superior. The sets were beautiful. The overall experience outstanding. They even had a glass blower in the lobby. He was terrific – he shared a wealth of information and was working his craft for all to see. We just had a wonderful night of theater.
Our second experience was seeing Oil City Symphony. What a fun musical. The acting was great – but the musical skill of all four actors was breathlessly impressive. We laughed so much, our cheeks were sore. A great, great time.
Based on our two experiences, I just can’t say enough about Festival Stage. Quality productions – without a doubt these people do it for the love of theater. Our experiences have really been enriching and have created some terrific family experiences.
