This is an overall review and not a rewview of just one facet of the club — I’d love to see the choices broken down into food service, golf, tennis, pool or social activities — Unilocal?I consider Bermuda Run one of the best bargains around. Been a member for 18 years. The club just changed hands and is now owned by Club Corp. Dining room service is greatly improved(sitll need to train staff though), food is so-so, could definitely be better. Uninspired, but serviceable. They are trying though — adding a beautiful Sunday brunch buffet, new chef. The tennis facilities and tennis programs are the best you will find. The pro, Bill, is a class act. The kids programs are phenomenal and the tennis community here is strong. Lots of league play, clinics, mixers, weekend activties, social events. I’m not a golfer, so I can’t speak to that, and that is often one of the deciding factors for joining a club. So if Unilocal could break this down a bit, it’d be great and I think people would come on here and give suggestions and reviews. The pool is decent. Its a nice pool with a lazy river, a snack bar — water aerobics, aqua zumba, a youth swim team. The bathroom facilities at the pool could be better. The one glaring amenity that is lacking at this club is a fitness facililty. Such a shame there’s not one available. So many clubs have this option I think Bermuda Run would benefit from having one and would keep it competitive with other clubs in the area. Banquet facilities would be another category that could be parceled out by Unilocal.I’ve attended a couple of weddings here and they seem to do a fantastic job. I have no idea how the planning experience is for patrons, if its open to non-members, or what the pricing is like though. As a guest though, its been really, really nice. Overall, this is a really nice club with an active membership full of nice people.

Easily the best value for a country club in the Triad, especially if you are under 40 and get a junior membership. Two golf courses, great tennis facility, wonderful pool, and beautiful homes ringing the neighborhood. Excellent staff and very friendly members. There is nothing pretentious or stuffy about Bermuda Run — my wife and I have always felt completely at home. There are two golf courses, and they are very different. The main course will eat your lunch if you are having a bad day. The greens are simply treacherous — I’ve seen guys who usually have 27 – 28 putts a round throw up 38 or 39. Still, they are in great shape and roll absolutely true. You just have to really be on your game. Although they have the course sloped at 130 from the blues, it plays much, much tougher and apparently the USGA is redoing the ratings. Off the top of my head, I would guess that the new slope would come in somewhere around 136 or higher. Find a member and get them to bring you on one of the guest days. At $ 25, it’s a no-brainer.
