RC Hobbies and More

Hands down the largest selection of RC related product that I have ever seen in a store (and I’ve been to all of them in CT). From cars to planes to helicopters and drones they’ve got an excellent selection of them all.
Their website has all inventory and prices listed, and their prices are always at the same price as any websites like amazon etc. In fact, several times I’ve gone in there and they’ve offered me deals way below online prices for stuff that they «over ordered» or hasn’t been popular enough to sell out of. They do ship online orders everyday so if you do order online and your from the general area of CT you’ll definitely get your order within 1 – 2 days.
All of the staff (typically 5 – 6 on duty) are extremely customer service orientated and go way out of their way to help people. They’re never too busy to help and/​or answer any questions you may have. So much so that they even have an area off to the side of their store where they do RC races and where they also will gladly help you with any questions or issues you have with your RC devices.
I drive 45 minutes (past 3 other hobby stores) to get there, and I usually go at least once per week. Its rare that I don’t spend at least an hour there, there is just so much to look at and see and buy. If you live within an hour or so of this place and you are into any form of RC (Car, Heli, Plane, Drone, even FPV) then there is no excuse to not check this place out, you will not be disappointed!

Largest hobby shop in the region with a knowledgeable staff. It’s not just a place to purchase models and parts but it’s a destination. When the weather is too poor to practice your hobby you can stop by the shop just to hang out with like minded people. Great hobby shop!

RCH&M is one heckuva hobby shop. The owner is completely committed to all forms of RC, from airplanes to helis to multirotors to trucks. There are plenty of other hobby types there as well. Great staff, competent techs, always something interesting going on there. It’s not the cheapest place on the planet, but consider what kind of investment it takes to harbor the stock that he has in the store and if you want that kind of inventory at your fingertips. Plus, support local businesses!

One of the best hobby shops that I’ve ever visited. They have everything from RC cars, helicopters, and airplanes to model railroad stuff, and every sort of other guy hobby out there. They even have some bicycles.
They’re in the Stop and Shop Plaza, at the very end. They’re difficult to see, we missed them on our first pass across.
