My wife and I have been coming to Winslow since 2008 at least once a year. The reason? La Posada and its Turquoise Room restaurant. We have eaten all over the world, and the Turquoise Room Ranks among my favorites. The Chef/manager is dedicated to fresh, local, in season and sustainable sourcing. He has helped bring the Navajo churro sheep back from the brink of extinction. Try their stuff I lamb and you will be glad. They have also nurtured several local organic truck farms in the area to supply the Turquoise Room. That have a fine wine list at reasonable prices. The Turquoise Room wine list high lites. A full selection of wines that are bulk transported and served in carafes, rather than bottles. This saves eliminates almost 75% of your wines carbon footprint! Enjoy your wine and feel good environmentally, what could be better?
