Prairie Island Campground

Nothing special. Hardly any vegetation between sites. Campground is loud, seems like many people live there in the summer. They drive around on golf carts all night long. Get a table, a fire ring. Wood to buy is $ 7! Go to gas station to get wood. Beach is a joke. Have a fine main restroom with showers-​they were warm! Otherwise are portable toilets in campground. When I initially called to ask info about the campground, some college kid I’m guessing answered the phone and was not very helpful. No customer service skills. When I got there it was the same thing. The person could not care whether or not I stayed there. Price was reasonable though to be in Winona-​$ 14 a night in August for no electrical hookup.
